New Media Club CCA sessions are held on Thursdays

Do note that co-payment is NOT required.

Objectives

New Media Club aims to equip our students with E21CC by fostering essential skills such as creativity, communication, critical thinking and collaboration.

In New Media Club, our students will learn about various aspects of digital media, including content creation, media production, and digital communication.

New Media Club provides a platform for our students to express themselves through digital tools, preparing them for a future where media plays a central role in communication and learning.

Qualities of A New Media Club Member (ARISE)

Amazing Love

Senior members will look after the junior members.
Rotational of duties:
- everyone will get their chance in using the equipment.
- everyone will get their chance to be in front of the camera.

Resilience

Members must be resilient and have plenty of patience.

To return the right number of equipment at the end of each CCA session

Self-Discipline

During the planning, implementation and editing stages, members are expected to show self-discipline.

2025 CCA PROGRAMME

Apple New Media Program

P6 Programme

Students will proficiently utilize iPads and other Apple technologies to create digital content.

Learning Objectives:

Plan, shoot and edit video content using Apple technologies.
Capture and enhance digital photographs using an iPad.
Create basic augmented reality (AR) experiences.
Produce digital artworks using iPad drawing tools.
Plan, record and edit a podcast episode.

Photography, Filming & Editing

P5 Programme

Students will explore the world of digital storytelling through photography, filming, and video editing. Using iPads and beginner-friendly editing tools, they will learn to plan, capture, and produce visual content that communicates ideas creatively.

Learning Objectives:

Understand the basics of photography, including framing, lighting, and composition.
Plan and storyboard short videos with a clear narrative structure.
Record video footage using iPads or other school devices.
Edit videos using simple editing software to add music, transitions, and titles.
Practice teamwork and communication during group filming projects.

Microsoft Makecode

P3/P4 Programme

Students will develop computational thinking and problem-solving skills by creating interactive projects using Microsoft Makecode.

Learning Objectives:

Understand basic programming concept such as loops, conditionals and variables.
Create simple games using Makecode Arcade.
