The aims of Conversational Chinese/Malay (CCM) Programme in schools are two-fold:
1) To strengthen Singapore's multi-racial compact
2) To enable students to have some grounding of the language so that they could more easily pick up the language should they need it for economic or other reasons in adult life.

About the programme:
The school offers this enrichment module to Secondary 1 and 2 students who are interested. The CCM Programme provides opportunities for students to gain exposure to conversational Chinese or Malay and practise what they have learnt in authentic settings.
There will be Elementary 1 & Elementary 2 modules for this programme. Elementary 1 module will be conducted in Semester 1 and 2. Elementary 2 module will be conducted in Semester 2 only.
Duration of each module: 20 hours, to be completed across 10 weeks.
Students who have completed each module will be awarded a certificate of completion.
