About Me

I am Mr Wong. Now, I am teaching in SK Segamat Baru, Segamat. I have a Diploma of Teaching of Malaysia, 1st Degree in Education (Primary School) and Master of Education, and some teaching certificates and Music certificates.

I can play western and chinese musical instruments such as classical, jazz and popular piano, electone organ, keyboard/ synthesizer and work station, soprano, sopranino, alto, tenor recorder, classical guitar, ukulele, harmonica, snare drum of brass band, erhu (Chinese two-string violin), Chinese flute. Recently, I am learning how to play Mendelssohn flute (Silver flute)

I can compose songs and arrange the music by using the music sequencer/ computer software/ workstation.

Working experience

1986 - 1988 When I was a form three student, I work as a part time music teacher. After that, I became a music teacher.

1989 - 1992 While as a music teacher, I joined the XiLe musical band as a keyboardist and music score writer for band player and as an arranger of music sequencer.

1992 - 1996 I was teaching in SJKC Kasap (2 months) and SJKC Seg Hwa as a temporary teacher for 3 years and 8 months). During as a temporary teacher in the primary school, I still teaching music in the private music schools.

1996 - 1999 While in the teaching training college, I had been designated as a choir trainer and assistant music arranger for college event such as teachers' day and convocation days of teaching training college, 1998 and 1999.

1st of September, 1992 I started my teaching career in SJKC Kasap, Segamat as temporary music teacher.

1992 - 1996 Transfer to SJKC Seg Hwa, Segamat.

1999 - 2007 I was posted to SJKC Tua Ooh, Segamat.

2008 - 2011 I applied to SJKC Li Chi, Segamat

2011 - 2017 I was transferred to SJKC Jagoh, Segamat

2017 - I applied to SK Segamat Baru, Segamat

Sports background

Pass the examination of umpire of table tennis (Ping Pong) for the Johor state.

Pass the examination of referee of basketball for the Segamat district.

I am a marathon lover and mountain climbing lover. Every year I will participate Penang Bridge International Marathon (PBIM).
