Dameware Remote Support

MJUSD Technology is now using Dameware Remote Everywhere, a service for providing remote support to MJUSD staff while they are connected to any network.   This remote support service does involve the staff member starting the session from their computer, so it cannot be used for unattended remote support.

Remote sessions can be started two different methods.  An MJUSD computer technician will either share a link that looks similar to this URL:

startcontrol.com/a1b2c3

Or the technician will direct the staff member to go to https://startcontrol.com/mjusd and enter a 9-digit code.

Both methods will start the download of DamewareRE.exe.  When that program has finished downloading, the staff member will need to click to run it.

After running DamewareRE.exe, a window will pop up that states "Waiting for a Technician".  The computer technician will connect soon.
