Exchange Student Visa Application Checklist
⚠️The visa issued by the embassy or consulate is a 'single-entry visa'.
It can be converted to a multiple-entry visa only after obtaining an Registration Card (RC) in Korea.
Please note that the word “multiple” on the visa indicates eligibility to change to a multiple-entry visa after obtaining the RC .
****Please exercise extra caution when entering Korea for the first time with your visa and regarding any international travel before your RC (Resident Card) is issued.
✅ Valid passport (expiration date at least 6 months beyond your stay)
✅ Completed visa application form
✅ Recent passport-sized photos (according to specifications)
✅ Admission letter or official acceptance from Myongji university
✅ Proof of financial support (bank statements, scholarship letters, etc.)
✅ Flight itinerary or travel plan
✅ Health insurance coverage
✅ Visa application fee payment receipt
✅ Additional documents required by the embassy/consulate (e.g., criminal background check, medical exam)
✅ Copies of previous visas or residence permits (if applicable)
✅ Contact information for emergency and host institution
✅ Proof of accommodation arrangements
✅ Any other documents specified by the embassy or consulate
