Registration Card (RC)
All international students staying in Korea MUST apply for a Residence Card. The RC works as both an ID card and multiple entry-permit card (like a visa) to Korea. It is required to process most paperwork in Korea including any medical or health-related procedures.
HireVisa is a visa agency in Korea with English services available for international students.Students will need to complete the online application form and submit required documents. (Individual submission is not allowed)

Cost: Immigration Fee (35,000 KRW) and Agency Fee (15,000 KRW) - 50,000 KRW Total
Required Documents only scanned copies are accepted.
The university will send the required documents directly to Hirevisa.
For students in Yongin (dormitory residents): The university will forward the documents to Hirevisa directly.
For students on the Seoul campus: You must submit the following documents individually (please refer to the Hirevisa website for details):
Proof of residence (w/signed)
Business registration certificate
Copy of the landlord’s ID
IMPORTANT: Photo MUST show both side of ears and be of high quality (can go to a photo booth, a professional studio), white background

RC application is mandatory.
Student MUST depart Korea within 4 weeks after their study periods ends.
-> This is either late June/early July for the Spring semester or late December/early January for the Fall semester.

If you lose your ARC, follow these steps:
Visit HiKorea http://www.hikorea.go.kr.
Go to Information Inquiry > Other Inquiry Services > Report Lost Registration Card or Residence Card.
Go to Civil Petition Application > Reservation to visit > Visit and reissue (fee: 30,000 KRW).
