The plant selection for this site was generated through the sites circulation patterns, seasonal interest, and stipulations. Examples of this Could be Peo pratensis, Rhus aromatica, or Zelkova serrata. Peo pratensis is a grass that can take a lot of travel without being damaged making it an ideal plant for courtyards. Rhus aromatica is a 3 leaved plant that can look similar to poison ivy making it a perfect buffer plant deterring pedestrians from crossing it. Zelkova serrata lines the roads and sidewalks because of it vase like shape which creates an overhead plan, provides shade, and pedestrian protection without spreading out low creating obstructing branches.
