In this E-safety workshop we learnt that repetition, intent and a power imbalance are features of cyberbullying. We met a character called Sophie and helped her understand her scenario whether it was cyberbullying or not using the features. We also looked at ways we could prevent cyberbullying from happening.
Ilenia
We also wrote letters to our friends; Katy, Jonathan and Theo. We gave them advice on whether we thought their situations involved cyberbullying or not and how we could help them by supporting them with what is the right thing to do.
Ali
My letter was to Katy and my advice mentioned ways to prevent cyberbullying. This includes to 'stop' and have a 'think' about the situation, 'speak up' and tell a trusted adult about the bullying and finally to 'support others' if you know someone else is being bullied.

With the help of DanTDM, Cuckoo class learnt about different filming techniques:
Panning
Close up
Talking Head
Talking head is when the camera is fixed and the person in front of the camera is talking. Panning is when the camera is moving from the person in front of the camera and an object like a game. And lastly, close up is when the camera is quite close and zoomed into the person or the object.
Erina
Below are some examples of the different filming techniques we learnt in the lesson: close up, mid range, long shot, moving subject, side by side, high, low and normal angle.
We are demonstrating the filming technique 'close up'. This is when the persons face and shoulders sometimes are in the picture and it's very close up.
Yasin & Ali
We are demonstrating the filming technique 'side by side'. This is when two or more people are in front of the camera and are being filmed.
Ilenia, Kishan & Omar
I was using 'low angle' to record Cormac but I can see Hugo was maybe using 'high angle' to record Mustafa. The other type of angle you can film is mid which is just like filming at a normal angle.
Low angle makes people look bigger than they are.
