Computing in Woodpecker Class

Week 1 - 21.02.23

This week we took part in an esafety workshop. We learnt how to be kind when we are online. We had to answer questions and complete tasks explaining what we would do in different situations.

We should only talk to people we know online because there might be strangers.

Week 2 - 28.02.23

This week we were learning how to paint using a computer. We used the chrome books to paint a picture of ourselves. We learnt to describe what different different tools do on canvas and then practiced using them.

Week 3 - 7.3.2023

This week we were learning how to make careful choices when painting on a computing.

We were choosing different shape tools and practising making shapes of different sizes.

Stem Week

This week we were marine biologists. We spent the week researching different underwater creatures and creating information booklets about them. We used the chrome books to find websites and watch videos about our creatures.
