Week 1: Internet Safety

This week we learnt about internet safety and focused on cyberbullying. 

Week 2: What is a video?

In this lesson we saw examples of videos featuring production and we then identified and compared the features of different videos. 

Some videos showed different angles of camera shots like: Talking head, Panning and Close up. 

Some videos had background music while others didn't and some videos had people talking at the camera. 

We reviewed the video below.

Week 3: Filming techniques

In this week's lesson we explored the capabilities of a digital device that can be used to record video. Once familiar with our devices, we experimented with different camera angles and considering how different camera angles can be used for different purposes.

By the end of the lesson we were about to:

Identify digital devices that can record video

• Identify and find features on a digital video recording device

• Experiment with different camera angles

• Make use of a microphone
