As a proud Mexican I am excited for the next week. Chivas is the only team in Liga MX to play exclusively with Mexicans, and these last six games are going to show the mentality the team has, even though this weekend we play the “Clásico Tapatío.”
Currently, Chivas doesn't have star players such as Raúl “Tala” Rangel (Goalkeeper), Diego Campillo (Defender), Luis Romo (Midfielder), Roberto “Piojo” Alvarado (Forward), and Santiago Sandoval (Forward). These players used to be on the main roster for Chivas, but now they are playing for the national team during the FIFA international window in September and October.
I think in the next game against Atlas, Chivas can still be impressive. Chivas can be dangerous on the wings with Tapias and Gómez, keeping the midfield organized with Rubén González as the captain. I believe Chivas will win 3–2, keeping us at the top of the table for the 2027 playoffs.
