My name is Jack, I am a salesman for the group Woolie Works as a part of the new Print to Profit class here at MHS. In class we split into groups and we're actually creating a business using the 3D printers. My group is strong, and we’re putting our focus on designing and selling keychains right now. We have three different types: Gold Woolies, Millbury Coins, and Basic Woolies.
Our strategy is to get our product out there as far as we can. We will be going to Shaw and Elmwood to do a kind of show-and-tell for the younger kids. We will be bringing a physical 3D printer with us and actually print a few things right there for them to keep. It’s a great way to show them how we make our products, but honestly, we're going there to try to target both the kids and the teachers so they'll buy some keychains. We’re trying to spread our sales as far as possible.
If you want to buy one right here at MHS, we've made the ordering process easy. We’ll have a Google Form sent out that everyone can use. Plus, we've got a bunch of different salesmen who will be walking around. You can just contact one of us directly to get the form if you don’t want to go through your school email. We're really excited about the business we're building and hope you'll check out our keychains.
Are you trying to design a T-shirt or sweatshirt and need an official MHS logo for your graphic? Did you know we have a website with our primary and alternative logos available in a variety of file types? To access them and download the necessary files for your design project, simply use the password "woolies".
As the NFL hits Week 12, four students ranked the current division leaders from best to worst. While the debate for the top teams was split, the students all agreed on which teams landed at the bottom of the list.
Interview with McKenzie Settle (2026)
The fall concert went very well. It began with the marching band performing their show Heat in the auditorium. After that, the junior high chorus performed, with several high school volunteers playing alongside them.
The high school groups performed next. Their portion of the concert had two sections: one featuring only chorus students, and another that combined both band and chorus members. From there, the concert transitioned into the band portion of the evening.
The seventh-grade band played two pieces, followed by the eighth graders, who also performed two selections and included a fun comic pun act in between. To close out the evening, the high school band performed two pieces, ending with a vibrant and energetic song titled Into the Storm.

The NFL season is in full swing, and the race for playoff spots is heating up. From dominant powerhouses to surprising underdogs, every team has shown who they really are - for better or worse. With upsets, breakout stars, and a few major disappointments, it’s time to take a closer look at where all 32 teams stand. Here’s my ranking of every NFL team so far this season, based on performance, consistency, and who looks built to make a real run when it matters most.
32.New York Jets
The 2025 NFL season has been another tough one for the New York Jets. Sitting at 0-7 and ranked 32nd in the league, it feels like the same story every year: high hopes in the offseason, followed by frustration on Sundays. Despite a few flashes of potential, this Jets team just can’t seem to put it all together.
Offensively, the numbers speak for themselves. The Jets rank last in passing yards per game at just 143.4 yards, and they’re only scoring about 18.4 points per game, which puts them near the bottom of the league. The offense looks flat, predictable, and too often out of sync. Drives stall, turnovers pile up, and the momentum disappears before it even starts. The offensive line continues to struggle with protection, giving defenses plenty of chances to make plays in the backfield.
A big part of the issue has been at quarterback. Justin Fields, who was brought in to give the offense a spark, has had an up-and-down year—mostly down. While he’s shown flashes of his athleticism, it hasn’t translated into wins. Fields has thrown for under 1,000 yards through seven games, with just a handful of touchdowns and nearly double the interceptions. His completion percentage sits in the low 50s, and he’s been sacked over 20 times already. Some of that falls on poor protection, but some of it’s on him holding the ball too long or forcing throws that aren’t there. The coaching staff has tried to adjust the playbook to fit his style, but nothing seems to stick.
Defensively, the Jets are also struggling. They’ve given up around 26 points per game, ranking near the bottom in that category, and the secondary has been a major weak spot. The front seven, while talented, hasn’t been consistent enough to carry the load. Missed tackles, blown coverages, and fatigue have all shown up late in games. Even when the defense holds early, it’s hard to stay locked in when the offense can’t move the ball.
There are still a few positives worth noting. The rushing attack has been surprisingly solid, averaging about 128 yards per game, which ranks among the top 10 in the league. Breece Hall continues to be one of the lone bright spots, showing his ability to break tackles and create big plays when given room to run. Head coach Aaron Glenn deserves credit for trying to instill a tougher mindset and keep morale up, even with a winless record.
But right now, being ranked No. 32 feels justified. The Jets can’t pass, they can’t protect the quarterback, and they can’t finish drives. Until that changes, they’ll stay at the bottom looking up at the rest of the league. The rest of this season should be about growth, figuring out if Fields is really the guy, giving young players more reps, and building some kind of foundation for 2026. Jets fans have waited long enough for a real turnaround, but for now, it’s another year of growing pains in green and white.
31. Las Vegas Raiders
The Raiders came into 2025 hoping for a fresh start. After a rough 4‑13 season last year, they brought in new leadership with head coach Pete Carroll and veteran quarterback Geno Smith, aiming to steady a team that had struggled with consistency. Early results have been mixed. A strong opener against the Patriots, where Smith threw for 362 yards, showed promise. But overall, the Raiders sit at 2‑5, and deeper stats reveal just how much work remains.
Offensively, there are some bright spots, but too many red flags. The Raiders are averaging only 14.7 points per game, ranking near the bottom of the league. The passing game has life when Smith is on, as he can move the ball effectively and stretch defenses. However, the rushing attack remains weak, ranked 23rd in the NFL at roughly 94 yards per game. Without balance, opposing defenses can focus on stopping the pass, and the Raiders have struggled to finish drives and convert critical situations.
Defensively, the story is similar: flashes of potential overshadowed by inconsistency. The front seven can make plays, and there have been moments when the defense has dominated a half. But overall, the Raiders allow 24.7 points per game, which isn’t terrible but isn’t enough when the offense struggles to score. Missed tackles, inconsistent third‑down stops, and a run defense that gives up chunks of yardage have all contributed to their current record.
Geno Smith has been a key figure in both the hope and the frustration. His experience has brought stability at times, but he’s been under siege from opposing pass rushes, sacked often, and forced into hurried throws. While his debut performance hinted at what the Raiders could be, sustaining that level of play has proven difficult, especially behind a line that hasn’t fully protected him or created room for the run.
So why are the Raiders struggling despite the new leadership and veteran quarterback? It comes down to execution and consistency. The team shows potential in spurts solid quarterback play, flashes from the defense but the lack of a balanced offense, inconsistent playmaking, and lingering roster holes keep them from stringing together wins. The 2025 season, so far, feels like a building year: a glimpse of what could be, but a reminder that the Raiders are still very much a work in progress.
30. Miami dolphins
From the start, the Miami Dolphins have looked lost and disorganized this year. With a 1–6 record, they sit at the bottom of the AFC East and have shown little to no improvement from last season’s disappointing performance. Despite a roster filled with talent, the team has been plagued by poor coaching, lackluster execution, and internal dysfunction.
Offensively, the Dolphins have struggled to find any rhythm. Quarterback Tua Tagovailoa has thrown 10 interceptions, tying him for the league lead, and has posted a career-low 24.1 passer rating in recent games. The offensive line has failed to provide adequate protection, leading to a stagnant passing game. Running back De'Von Achane has been a bright spot, but the offense as a whole has been inconsistent and ineffective.
Defensively, the Dolphins have been equally disappointing. They allow an average of 24.7 points per game and have shown little ability to stop opposing offenses when it matters most. The secondary has been vulnerable, and the pass rush has been nonexistent. Despite having a defensive-minded head coach in Mike McDaniel, the defense has underperformed and lacks discipline.
The most pressing issue, however, is the leadership at the top. Head coach Mike McDaniel has failed to inspire or motivate his team. His lack of accountability and inability to make in-game adjustments have left the Dolphins in a perpetual state of mediocrity. Critics have highlighted the team’s disinterest and lack of focus after recent losses, underscoring the urgent need for a change.
It’s clear that a new direction is necessary. The Dolphins need a head coach who can instill discipline, accountability, and a winning mentality. Until then, the franchise will continue to flounder, leaving fans frustrated and wondering when the next real opportunity for success will arrive.
29. Tennessee Titans
Tennessee Titans: Offensive Struggles and Defensive Concerns
The Tennessee Titans' 2025 season has been defined by struggles on both sides of the ball. Offensively, the team ranks last in the NFL in third-down conversions, successfully converting only 28.3 percent of attempts. This inefficiency has made it nearly impossible to sustain drives and put points on the board.
Rookie quarterback Cam Ward, the top pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, has had a rough start to his professional career. Through the first six games, he has thrown for just 287 yards and one touchdown, while committing four turnovers. His development has been hindered by a struggling offensive line, which has allowed six sacks in a single game. The combination of an inexperienced quarterback and weak protection has led to a stagnant offense that can rarely move the ball consistently.
Defensively, the Titans have had moments of promise but continue to be inconsistent. The front seven has struggled to generate pressure on opposing quarterbacks, limiting turnovers and giving opponents time to execute plays. As a result, the defense has often had to compensate for the offense’s struggles, and that hasn’t always worked.
Adding to the turmoil, the Titans made a coaching change after starting the season 1–5, firing head coach Brian Callahan. The interim coach has focused on simplifying the offense to help Ward develop and improve execution, but the team still faces a steep challenge.
If the Titans are going to turn the season around, they need to improve offensive efficiency, particularly on third downs, stabilize the offensive line, and generate more pressure on defense. Without these changes, the season is likely to continue as a frustrating one for players and fans alike.
28.New Orleans Saints
The New Orleans Saints have had a challenging 2025 season so far, landing them at 27th in the NFL rankings. T he team has shown flashes of growth and potential, particularly on offense, but struggles on defense and overall consistency have held them back. Head coach Kellen Moore, while not the traditional leader some fans expected, has proven to be a creative offensive mind. Under his guidance, quarterback Spencer Rattler has developed into a reliable playmaker, and the running game has improved significantly compared to last year. These offensive improvements have helped the Saints compete in more games and avoid being among the league’s bottom teams.
I’ll admit, at the start of the season, I would’ve had the Saints ranked dead last at 32. Their roster looked shaky, the defense seemed questionable, and there wasn’t much optimism surrounding the team. However, they’ve completely changed my mind this year. While they’re far from perfect, the progress they’ve made on offense and the resilience they’ve shown in close games have been impressive. Spencer Rattler’s growth and Kellen Moore’s offensive creativity have given this team a new spark that simply wasn’t there before.
The Saints’ biggest problem remains their defense, especially in the secondary. They’ve struggled to get consistent stops and have given up too many big plays late in games. The pass rush hasn’t been strong enough to take pressure off the corners, which has cost them several close matchups. Still, there’s something different about this year’s Saints , they play with more energy, and the offense finally feels alive. If they can fix their defensive issues and find some consistency, they might shock a few teams down the stretch. For now, they sit in the bottom tier, but it’s clear they’re trending upward and proving they’re not the same old Saints anymore.
27. New york giants
The New York Giants' 2025 season has been a journey of highs and lows, with moments of promise tempered by setbacks. As a fan, it's understandable to feel a mix of optimism and frustration. The team has shown flashes of potential, but there are still areas where improvement is needed to compete with the stronger teams in the league.
The Giants' defense has shown brilliance at times, particularly in the early stages of games. However, consistency remains an issue, as evidenced by their recent collapse against the Denver Broncos. Leading 26-8 with under six minutes left, the Giants allowed 33 unanswered points, culminating in a 33-32 loss. This late-game vulnerability underscores the need for improved execution and discipline and shows that they still have a lot to work on to be a top contender.
Rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart has injected new energy into the offense. In recent games, he has shown the ability to make big plays, throwing for over 280 yards, multiple touchdowns, and even adding a rushing score. Despite a few mistakes, Dart’s performance has been a bright spot for the Giants, reflecting a promising start to his NFL career with a solid completion percentage and a favorable touchdown-to-interception ratio. His mobility and playmaking ability have helped make the offense more dynamic since taking over the starting role.
The decision to bench veteran Russell Wilson in favor of Dart has been a turning point for the team. Wilson’s tenure was marked by inconsistency, and the shift to a younger quarterback has brought renewed energy and hope. While the Giants still face challenges and other teams currently seem stronger, there is reason to be optimistic. With a solid defensive line, an improving offense, and a promising rookie quarterback, the Giants are laying the foundation for future growth and success. Patience and support from fans will be crucial as they navigate this transitional period.
26. Cincinnati Bengals
The Cincinnati Bengals are having a mixed 2025 season, sitting at a 3–4 record as of Week 8. Their offense has shown flashes of brilliance, but consistency has been a challenge. Quarterback Joe Burrow, a key figure in the team's offensive strategy, has been sidelined due to injury, leading to veteran Joe Flacco stepping in. Despite this, the offense has managed to put up respectable numbers, averaging 19.4 points per game. Wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase continues to be a standout, leading the team with 629 receiving yards. Running back Chase Brown has also contributed significantly, leading the team with 310 rushing yards. The offensive line has had its ups and downs, with rookie Jalen Rivers showing potential but also facing challenges against tough defenses.
On the defensive side, the Bengals have been dealing with injuries, notably losing star pass rusher Trey Hendrickson to a hip issue. Despite trade rumors, the team has expressed a commitment to keeping Hendrickson, recognizing his importance to the defense. In his absence, the defense has struggled to generate consistent pressure, which has impacted their overall performance. The Bengals' defense is allowing an average of 30.6 points per game, ranking among the lower half of the league. However, there have been bright spots, such as linebacker Demetrius Knight Jr., who leads the team with 50 tackles, and safety Jordan Battle, who has recorded three interceptions.
Looking ahead, the Bengals face a crucial stretch of games to turn their season around. With Burrow's return on the horizon, the offense hopes to regain its rhythm. The defense will need to step up, especially with Hendrickson's potential return, to improve their pass rush and overall defensive performance. The upcoming games against teams like the New York Jets and Pittsburgh Steelers will be pivotal in determining the Bengals' playoff aspirations. If they can stay healthy and execute their game plans effectively, the Bengals have the talent to be a competitive force in the AFC North.
25. Cardinals
The Arizona Cardinals find themselves ranked 24th in the NFL as of mid-October 2025, a reflection of their 2–5 record and struggles in key areas. Despite a promising start to the season with wins over the New Orleans Saints and Carolina Panthers, the team has since dropped five consecutive games, including narrow losses to the Tennessee Titans, Indianapolis Colts, and Green Bay Packers. These close defeats highlight the Cardinals' inability to close out games and capitalize on critical moments.
Offensively, the Cardinals have faced challenges in both the passing and rushing games. Quarterback Kyler Murray, who has been sidelined due to a foot injury, has thrown for 962 yards, six touchdowns, and three interceptions over five games. Backup quarterback Jacoby Brissett stepped in during Murray's absence, throwing for 320 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception in a recent loss to the Colts. However, the offense has struggled to maintain consistency, ranking 20th in points scored per game and 22nd in total offensive yards. The rushing attack has also been underwhelming, ranking 24th in rush play percentage and 23rd in rushing yards per game.
Defensively, the Cardinals have shown some resilience but have been inconsistent. They rank 14th in points allowed per game and 23rd in total yards allowed per game. While they have managed to generate pressure at times, their inability to consistently stop opposing offenses has been a significant factor in their recent losses. The defense has also been hindered by injuries, with key players missing time, further impacting their performance.
Injuries have been a recurring issue for the Cardinals, affecting both their offensive and defensive units. The absence of key players, including Murray, has disrupted team chemistry and continuity. Additionally, the team's depth has been tested, leading to challenges in maintaining a high level of play throughout the season. These factors contribute to the Cardinals' current standing and underscore the need for improved health and depth to compete effectively in the NFC West.
In summary, the Arizona Cardinals' 2025 season so far has been marked by inconsistency, injuries, and missed opportunities. Their current ranking reflects these challenges, and while there have been moments of promise, sustained improvement is necessary to elevate the team and compete with stronger opponents in the league.
24. The Cleveland browns
Next, we have the Cleveland Browns. Honestly, I would have had them at 28 at the start of the season, but they’ve climbed eight spots because their run defense has been absolutely outstanding this year, ranking among the league’s best. The Browns’ defensive front is anchored by elite talent that consistently disrupts opposing offensive lines and makes it extremely difficult for teams to establish a running game. Defensive stalwarts like Myles Garrett and Jadeveon Clowney have been dominant, providing both pressure on quarterbacks and a near-impenetrable wall against the run. Their linebacking corps and secondary have also stepped up, creating turnovers and limiting big plays, which has been key to keeping the Browns competitive in games where their offense hasn’t been firing.
Despite their defensive dominance, the Browns have clear areas of concern. Their offense has been inconsistent all season, with a passing game that struggles to maintain momentum and convert in critical situations. Penalties have also been an issue, often negating big plays or putting the team in tough situations. Dillon Gabriel, who won the starting job over Joe Falco, has shown flashes of competence, highlighted by a strong performance against the Miami Dolphins where he completed 72.2% of his passes for 116 yards. However, Gabriel is still developing and hasn’t shown the consistency needed to carry a team on his own. Many fans and analysts are questioning whether he’s the long-term answer at quarterback. I strongly believe that Shedeur Sanders deserves a chance; his talent, poise, and football IQ suggest he could become a franchise quarterback if given the opportunity. Bringing him in could energize the offense and give the Browns a legitimate chance to compete in every game.
Special teams and situational play have also been mixed for Cleveland. While their kicker and punter have been reliable at times, there have been games where field position and missed opportunities have cost them. The offensive line has had its ups and downs, which has affected both the running game and pass protection, putting additional pressure on Gabriel or any quarterback that steps in. On the bright side, when the run game is established, it opens up opportunities for play-action passes and keeps defenses honest, showing that the offensive potential is there if they can tighten up execution.
Overall, while the Cleveland Browns still have challenges to overcome, their elite run defense, strong defensive leadership, and potential at quarterback make them a team to watch. They have the ability to dominate games in the trenches, force turnovers, and keep themselves in close contests even when the offense is struggling. I have faith in this team to continue climbing the ranks, especially over the other squads currently ranked at spots 25 through 32. If the Browns can address offensive inconsistencies, reduce penalties, and perhaps give Shedeur Sanders a shot under center, they could surprise a lot of teams and become a tough matchup for any opponent in the league. Their current position reflects not just their improvement, but also the untapped potential that could make them a serious contender if everything clicks.
23. Carolina panthers
The Panthers have shown significant growth this season, with a current record of 4-3. A major factor in this turnaround is because of the performance of quarterback Bryce Young. In the first seven games he has thrown for 1,288 yards ,11 touchdowns, and 5 interceptions , completing 61.6% of his passes and his 84.4 passer rating reflects a noticeable progression from his rookie year. However , with young development there are still so many challenges they have shown in the 2025 season so far. He also suffered a high ankle sprain in week 7 against the win over the new york jets and is expected to miss the game against the buffalo bills and the Panthers will have to rely on veteran Andy Dalton that’s not the best quarterback in the world. The team also ranks 23rd in total offense, gathering just 2,070 yards through the first seven games. The rushing attack has been ineffective , averaging only 75.7 rushing yards per a game, placing them 31st in the NFL. On the defensive side, the Panthers have made notable strides. They currently rank 7th in total defense, allowing just 295.7 yards per game. Key contributors include safety Tre'Von Moehrig, who leads all NFL safeties with six tackles for loss and has recorded 46 total tackles, one sack, and numerous quarterback pressures. Additionally, cornerback Jaycee Horn has been instrumental in the secondary, contributing significantly to the team's defensive success.
However, the defense is not without its flaws. While they have improved, inconsistencies remain, particularly in the second half of games. The Panthers will need to maintain their defensive intensity throughout all four quarters to remain competitive.
Overall, the Panthers' 2025 season has been a mix of promising developments and areas needing improvement. The performance of Bryce Young and the continued growth of the defense will be pivotal as the season progresses.
22. ARIZONA Cardinals
The Arizona Cardinals have had a challenging 2025 season, marked by a series of narrow losses that have left them with a 2–5 record. Despite these setbacks, the team has demonstrated resilience and potential in various aspects of their gameplay. Their offense has shown promise but remains inconsistent. Quarterback Jacoby Brissett has stepped in admirably, especially in the absence of Kyler Murray due to a foot injury. In the recent game against the Green Bay Packers, Brissett threw for 279 yards and two touchdowns, connecting frequently with tight end Trey McBride, who had 10 receptions for 74 yards. However, the offense has struggled with turnovers and missed opportunities, particularly in the second half of games. Defensively, the Cardinals have been formidable against the run, ranking among the top teams in the league by allowing an average of just 4.2 yards per carry. This stout run defense has been a cornerstone of their strategy, enabling them to control the tempo of games and keep opponents’ offenses in check. Special teams have be in en relatively stable, with kicker Lucas Havrisik stepping in effectively during Brandon McManus’s absence, though penalties have been a recurring issue, often negating positive plays and hindering the team’s momentum. With Kyler Murray’s future uncertain, the Cardinals may look to the draft for a potential franchise quarterback, with Shedeur Sanders mentioned as a possible prospect given his standout college performance. While the Cardinals face challenges, their strong run defense and the leadership of players like Jacoby Brissett and Trey McBride provide a foundation to build upon. With strategic adjustments and potential additions the team can aim to improve their standing in the NFC West and become a more consistent contender.
21.Minnesota Vikings.
The Minnesota Vikings have been a rollercoaster , with flashes of brilliance overshadowed by inconsistency. At the heart of the offense is JJ. McCarthy , the 2024 round pick who has shown promise but also faced challenges and before he got hurt he had 301 passing yards, 2 touchdowns , interception 3 , completion percentage of 58.5 % and Passer Rating 67.2.While these numbers indicate potential, they also highlight areas for growth. McCarthy's ability to read defenses and maintain composure under pressure will be crucial as the season progresses
McCarthy suffered a high ankle sprain in Week 2, sidelining him since. The Vikings are hopeful for his return, but the timeline remains uncertain. In his absence, veteran Carson Wentz has stepped in, though he's also dealing with a shoulder issue, further complicating the quarterback situation. Rookie Max Brosmer may be thrust into action if both McCarthy and Wentz are unavailable. One of their strengths is their receiving corps led by Justin Jefferson , who has amassed 528 receiving yards, The Vikings passing attack remains potent. Another strength is Cornerback Isaiah Rodgers, who made history in Week 3 with two defensive touchdowns and forced fumbles, showcasing the defense's potential. Even though there are some promises they have some weaknesses like the revolving door at quarterback has hindered offensive consistency,With only 706 total rushing yards, the ground game has struggled to complement the passing attack.Converting only 34.2% of third downs places additional pressure on the defense. The Vikings' 3–4 record reflects a team in transition. While McCarthy's return could ignite the offense, the ongoing quarterback issues and defensive inconsistencies pose significant challenges. If the Vikings can stabilize their quarterback situation and improve on third downs, they might turn the season around.
20. Houston Texans
The Houston Texans have been having a challenging season. I will be honest I thought the Texans would be a top 10 NFl team this season but they have disappointed this season. Especially CJ stroud the 1st round draft pick in 2023. He had amazing 2023 season with passing yards of 4,108 , 23 touchdowns , 5 interceptions passer rating of 100.8 and 63,9 completion percentage but then he had a sophomore slump where he had 3,727 passing yards, 20 touchdowns , 12 interceptions, passer rating of 87.0 and a completion percentage of 63.2 . So far this season CJ Stroud has 1,076 yards , 8 passing touchdowns and interceptions 3 and a passer rating of 102.1 and completion percentage of 70.8 and that’s honestly already better than last year and I hope he keeps that up but their offensive line has struggled with pass protection and interior line play. If this keeps happening during the rest of the season they will need to trade people to help their offense line to get better but on the other hand their defense of the line, led by a formidable pass-rushing duo of Will Anderson Jr. and Danielle Hunter. This group is considered one of the best in the NFL, bolstered by strong coverage from the secondary and the addition of key players. Overall I don’t know if they're going to make the playoffs this year because of their offensive line but their defense is the reason they are at number 20 so far this season.
19. Washington Commanders.
I honestly thought the Washington commanders would have been in the top 10 this season but I have been disappointed in them because they are struggling in their run defense particularly on the edge, though their pass protection and inconsistent secondary are also significant liabilities. The run defense has shown an inability to stop opponents from gaining significant yardage, leading to opponents controlling the ball, while the offensive line has failed to provide consistent protection for the quarterback. Jayden Daniels has been not the best but he injured his hamstring. Even though they have some struggles they have a lot of strengths like their offense off line and it is one of the best units in the league, though its pass blocking performance has been inconsistent. The teams out look improved significantly with the addition of left tackle Larmey Tunsil but they still have work in progress, especially in pass protection but overall I think they will need to learn to work together in defense but they have more of the offensive line of other teams.
18. Atlanta Falcons
The Atlanta Falcons are quietly asserting themselves as one of the most formidable defensive units in the NFL this season. Through six games, they lead the league in total yards allowed per game (253.4) and passing yards allowed per game (139.4), showcasing a defense that can shut down both the air and ground attacks of opposing offenses. This defensive prowess has been a key factor in their 3–3 record, keeping them competitive in a tight NFC South division.
Despite a recent 20–10 loss to the San Francisco 49ers, the Falcons' defense remained resilient, holding San Francisco to just 20 points. However, the offense struggled, with quarterback Michael Penix Jr. managing only 241 passing yards and a touchdown, while also dealing with a foot/ankle injury sustained during the game. The Falcons' ability to contain high-powered offenses, like that of the 49ers, underscores the strength of their defensive unit.
Looking ahead, the Falcons will need to continue relying on their defense to stay competitive. With a balanced approach that emphasizes defensive dominance, they have the potential to make significant strides as the season progresses.
17. Chicago Bears.
The Chicago Bears are on a roll this season, and I’m here for it. After a shaky start with a 0–2 record, they've turned things around with four straight wins, including a solid 26–14 victory over the Saints. Their defense has been the backbone of this resurgence, forcing four turnovers and recording four sacks in the win against New Orleans. They've allowed just 44 rushing yards in that game, showcasing their dominance on that side of the ball. Quarterback play has been inconsistent, but the defense has stepped up to fill the gap. At 4–2, they're in the playoff mix and despite some inconsistencies at quarterback, the Bears are finding ways to win and they do have an easy struggle too. Next up they face the Baltimore Ravens, who are coming off a bye week and that haven’t been looking really good this season and it’a big test if lamar jackson is back but I think the bears are going to continue play with this level of intensity and discipline, they could make some noise the rest of the season.
16. Pittsburgh Steelers
I will be honest at the start of the season I didn’t believe in them at all but they have proven themselves to be really good. Aaron Rodgers has been doing very well this season with a CMP of 68% rate, 1,270 Yards, 14 touchdowns and 5 interceptions but I believe that he has been playing way better than the stats say and The Pittsburgh Steelers' strengths include an elite edge-rushing trio of T.J. Watt, Alex Highsmith, and Nick Herbig, a strong starting offensive line with young talent, and a deep and talented running back group led by Jaylen Warren and Najee Harris. The team's defense, which has shown significant improvement, and a running game that appears to be a cornerstone of the offense are also key strengths. Even though they have a lot of strengths they do have some weaknesses including a struggling offense of line depth, particularly at tackle and the secondary needs some improvements though. But I do believe that they could make the playoffs this year based on what they have been like so far this season.
15. Jacksonville Jaguars.
The Jacksonville Jaguars have been looking really good this season, especially on offense. Trevor Lawrence has been stepping up big time with the new offensive coordinator, and the passing game is looking way more dynamic. They’ve got some playmakers who can stretch the field and make explosive plays, which has helped them pull out some close wins. Like that 36-33 win over the MacArthur Generals—they racked up over 500 rushing yards and really showed off their fast-paced, no-huddle style to get the W.
Their defense has been pretty strong at times too, especially the pass coverage and the defensive front with guys like Travon Walker and Josh Hines-Allen. They’ve done a better job stopping the run and making it tough on offenses. But honestly, the defense is still kind of a mess. The safety play hasn’t been great, and Andrew Wingard has been letting up some big plays. They also haven’t been forcing turnovers like they need to, which has kept them from being consistent on that side of the ball.
Even with those issues, the Jaguars are looking like a team on the rise. The offense is clicking under pressure, and when the defense is on its game, they can dominate. If guys like linebacker Devin Lloyd come back healthy, they could really start to clean up the defensive mess and make a serious push for the playoffs. Right now, it’s a mix of a really exciting offense and a defense that still has a lot of work to do.
14. Baltimore Ravens
The Baltimore Ravens entered this season with high expectations. Many fans, myself included, believed they could compete for the top spot in the league. With Lamar Jackson leading the offense, there was hope that the team would showcase the dynamic playmaking and efficiency that have been their hallmark in recent years. However, the season got off to a rocky start. Early on, the Ravens struggled with consistency on both sides of the ball. Their offense, which usually thrives on Lamar’s mobility and decision-making, seemed stagnant at times, averaging only around 183 passing yards per game. The rushing game has been better, averaging roughly 126 yards per game, but it hasn’t been enough to compensate for the struggles in the air. The defense also showed vulnerabilities, allowing over 32 points per game in the early part of the season, with opponents frequently converting third downs and sustaining drives against them. Injuries, including Lamar Jackson’s, and underperformance by some younger or new players contributed to the team’s early difficulties. Coming into the season, many expected the Ravens to dominate their division, and the disparity between expectations and reality only added pressure.
Despite these setbacks, there have been clear signs of improvement. Since returning from Jackson’s injury, the offense has become more efficient, with the passing game opening up and the run game finding a better rhythm. Lamar has been playing at a high level again, demonstrating why he is such a central figure to the team’s success. The defense has also tightened up, forcing turnovers and putting more pressure on opposing quarterbacks. Key players like Derrick Henry and Zay Flowers have contributed with solid rushing and receiving performances, giving the offense more balance and explosiveness. The Ravens’ ability to bounce back after tough games and injuries shows resilience and strong team character.
While the early part of the season has been disappointing, the Ravens are clearly trending in the right direction. Their combination of improved offensive execution, a more disciplined defense, and steady coaching gives fans hope that they can still make a significant impact in the second half of the season. Although they may not be the number one team right now, their recent performances indicate that they are far better than at the start of the season and capable of competing with the league’s best when they put it all together.
13. Denver broncos
The Denver Broncos are making a strong push in the 2025 NFL season, and much of the credit goes to second-year quarterback Bo Nix. After a promising rookie year, Nix has taken his game to the next level, leading the Broncos to a 5–2 record, their best start since 2016. His performance against the New York Giants was particularly remarkable, orchestrating a 33-point fourth-quarter comeback a feat that showcased his poise and leadership under pressure. Nix's ability to remain calm and execute in clutch moments has been a defining feature of his play this season.
Nix's development has been bolstered by a strong supporting cast. Wide receivers Courtland Sutton and Troy Franklin have provided reliable targets, while the offensive line has shown resilience, especially in the face of injuries. The team's commitment to a balanced offensive attack, combining Nix's passing with a solid running game, has kept defenses on their toes. This offensive cohesion has been instrumental in the Broncos' ability to close out tight games and build momentum throughout the season.
Looking ahead, the Broncos' success will hinge on maintaining their offensive efficiency and continuing to develop chemistry among their key playmakers. With Nix at the helm, the team has the potential to challenge for a playoff spot and perhaps even make a deep postseason run. If Nix can sustain his high level of play and the supporting cast remains healthy, the Broncos could be poised for their most successful season in recent years.
12. Dallas Cowboys
The Dallas Cowboys' offense in the 2025 NFL season has been nothing short of explosive, ranking second in the league with an average of 31.7 points per game. Quarterback Dak Prescott is playing at an MVP-caliber level, leading the NFL with 1,881 passing yards and 17 total touchdowns. His efficiency has been remarkable, with a passer rating of 130.4 in a dominant 44-22 victory over the Washington Commanders. Prescott’s performance has drawn praise from even his harshest critics, with many acknowledging just how exceptional he’s been this season.
The Cowboys' receiving corps has been a huge asset, with George Pickens emerging as a standout. In his first seven games with Dallas, Pickens has racked up 607 receiving yards and six touchdowns, already drawing comparisons to former star Amari Cooper. Tight end Jake Ferguson has also been a reliable target, recording six receiving touchdowns in seven games, which is impressive for his position. Running back Javonte Williams has contributed big time to the ground game, rushing for 592 yards and adding 18 total touchdowns, showing off his versatility and playmaking ability.
Even though the offense has been firing on all cylinders, the Cowboys' defense has had its challenges, especially after trading star pass rusher Micah Parsons to the Packers. In return, Dallas got defensive tackle Kenny Clark and two first-round picks, trying to strengthen the line. The defense has shown signs of improvement, especially in the Week 7 win over Washington where they got multiple sacks and forced turnovers. Consistency is still a concern, but if they keep improving, this high-powered offense could be backed by a defense strong enough to make a deep playoff run.
11. Seattle Seahawks
The Seattle Seahawks have impressed me so far this season. I will admit I thought they were not going to do good this season and I thought sam darnold was only doing amazing because of the Vikings receiver core but it’s not true based off what I seen him playing like the seattle seahawks he has CMP 68.2%, YDS 1,754 , 12 touchdowns and 4 INT but I believe that he’s playing better than his stats are saying. The Seattle Seahawks' strengths include an efficient offense with a high explosive play rate and a strong, talented secondary and defensive front. They also have a surprisingly successful road record and are being coached by a highly regarded defensive mind, Mike McDonald. Even though most of their offense is their strength this season, another area of concern is fourth-quarter performance, especially on defense, with some lapses leading to late scores. Additionally, the team's home-field advantage seems to have diminished under the new head coach, Mike Macdonald. The Seahawks defense is ranked 10 in total yards allowed in 2025 so far, points allowed 2nd , sack 6th place , run defense is 5th in the league and NFL analyst ranks them 1st in Advanced metrics . Overall I think the Seattle Seahawks have been very successful this season and they are going to make the playoffs this year and they could make the superbowl if they could fix fourth quarter performance.
10. Philadelphia Eagles
The Philadelphia Eagles have had a solid 2025 season, earning their #9 ranking due to a strong combination of talent, coaching, and depth. Quarterback Jalen Hurts has been the centerpiece of the team, showing his dual-threat ability by making plays both in the air and on the ground. His efficiency and leadership have allowed the offense to remain balanced, while his connection with star receivers A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith has kept defenses on their heels. The offensive line has been one of the best in the league, providing Hurts excellent protection and opening up lanes for the running game, which has helped the Eagles sustain drives and control the tempo of games.
Defensively, the Eagles’ front seven has been a major strength, with Fletcher Cox and Jordan Davis anchoring a line that consistently pressures quarterbacks and shuts down the run. Their ability to generate sacks and tackles for loss has made it difficult for opposing offenses to find rhythm, and their defensive discipline has kept the team competitive in close matchups. Special teams have also contributed positively, with reliable kicking and coverage units helping maintain good field position throughout the season. These combined factors make the Eagles one of the more complete teams in the NFL.
Despite these strengths, the Eagles have notable weaknesses that prevent them from being a top-five team. The secondary has struggled at times against elite passing attacks, giving up big plays that have shifted momentum in critical games. Offensive inconsistencies, including dropped passes and occasional turnovers, have also hindered their ability to dominate weaker opponents. Injuries to key players have tested the team’s depth, and while they have managed well so far, continued health concerns could affect their performance late in the season. Overall, Philadelphia’s mix of elite strengths and manageable weaknesses places them firmly at #9, with the potential to climb higher if they tighten up coverage and maintain offensive consistency.
9. Los Angeles Chargers
The Los Angeles Chargers season has been very confusing because for week 1-3 they were playing like the best team in the NFL but now they haven’t been playing as well as they did as the start of the beginning. I think it might be caused by offensive line struggles, particularly at center and in pass protection, their lack of receiver depth, and an inconsistent run defense, especially against outside runs. Other weaknesses include a thin group of cornerbacks and a tight end position that has also lacked production. I also think the other issue is Receiving Depth because there are concerns about pass-catching depth beyond their top receivers. Wide receiver Ladd McConkey is a bright spot, but the team lacks reliable options behind him. The Los Angeles Chargers' strengths include their versatile players, which allow for varied formations and depth, a top-tier wide receiver corps, and a strong weight room and coaching staff, as rated by the NFLPA. The team's schedule for 2025 is also ranked as the 15th easiest in the league. However, their recent perceived strength in rushing has been a point of analysis as the team has had a less dominant ground game than expected in recent games.
8. Green Bay Packers
The Green Bay Packers are having a strong start to their season, holding a record of 4-1-1 as week 8 and leading the NFC North but they are struggling including a struggling defense, particularly in the second half of the games , allowing opponents to come back from large deficits. Also they have a weak special teams unit. Even though they have weaknesses the Green Bay Packers also have strengths. Their main strength is their offensive line. Which provides strong pass protection for the quarterback Jordan Love. Jordan Love is playing at a high level and showing significant development and he is taking a better command of the offense and making amazing decision making skills. He has 1,438 passing yards , 69.3 CMP%, 10 touchdowns and INT 10. By various sources they have ranked him just out of top 10 quarterback but honestly I would rank him number 10 because he has shown a lot of growth. Overall I am shocked but not surprised by the green bay packers this season not just because there offense is coming together because they are working together more as a team and if the special teams unit fixes their issues they could become a real contender for the superbowl this season but there is other teams better then them that’s why there number 8.
7. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers entered the 2025 season with high expectations and through the first seven games, they have shown both promise and vulnerability. Currently leading the NFC south with a record of 5-2, the team has looked like a legitimate contender. However in their recent loss to the Detroit Lions 24-9 highlighted some inconsistencies, particularly the offense especially when Baker Mayfield wasn’t performing like a MVP candidate like he did in the beginning of the season. Despite this setback Mayfield has been the driving force of the team's success this season, delivering elite play and keeping the buccaneers competitive in nearly every game and I know they will bounce back after their loss to the lions. On the defensive side, the Buccaneers have made noticeable improvements, particularly in pass coverage, though early-drive scores and struggles in the fourth quarter remain areas of concern. The defensive line has been effective at pressuring quarterbacks and disrupting plays, while the linebackers ,anchored by a veteran and a promising young player have been one of the team's strengths. Even though they do have a lot of strengths and some weaknesses they have issues on the special teams side of the ball because they have persistent issues in kickoff and punt convergence, blocking mistakes, and inconsistent kicking throughout the season because of these struggles they have this unit near the bottom of the league and they have cost them points in many games this season so far. Overall the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are teams of success. With an MVP level quarterback , a dominant offensive line , a strong tight end group , and talented defense archoned by a healthy secondary, the team has all the pieces to contend for the superbowl. However injuries to key players and late game defense lapses might threaten their success.
6.Bufflo Bills
The Buffalo Bills have been having a good season but honestly thought the Buffalo Bills were going to be a top 2 NFL team in the league this season and I did have higher expectations for them this season. In the beginning of the season they were the Number one team but they just lost two games in a row and their offensive looks lost but I know they will stop struggling and bounce back and win against the panthers that are on a hot streak right now but I believe in them. Even though they lost the past 2 games, One of their main strengths for the Buffalo Bills this season is Josh Allen and a powerful offensive backfield led by Allen and James Cook. The offensive line is considered one of their strengths on the team and this team has an easier schedule giving them an advantage. On defense, the Bills have been hit or miss. The front seven can still get pressure when they’re on, but there have been too many breakdowns in coverage, especially in the secondary, allowing teams to make big plays. Injuries and a lack of consistency from key players have contributed to this, and it’s been frustrating to watch for a team that everyone expected to dominate. Even though the defense has had its moments, it hasn’t been enough to carry the team consistently, and that showed in a key loss to the Patriots, which ended up costing them first place in the division. It was one of those games where everything seemed to go wrong, the pass rush couldn’t get to Drake Maye, the secondary gave up too many big plays, and the offense couldn’t stay on the field long enough to give the defense a break. Losing that game really set them back, and now the Bills have to play catch-up if they want to take the division back. It’s frustrating because you could see the potential in this team, but one critical loss like that just changes the whole trajectory of the season. Overall the buffalo bills are still in contention of winning the superbowl but they need to fix their 2 week losing streak.
5. San Francisco 49ers
The 49ers are having an amazing season so far, and it’s even more impressive considering how many injuries they’ve had to deal with. They’re sitting at 5–2 and still leading the NFC West, which shows how tough and deep this team really is. Even without some of their top players, they’ve found ways to keep winning and play at a really high level. Every week it feels like someone else is stepping up to fill the gaps, and that’s what makes this team so exciting to watch.
Mac Jones has been doing a solid job taking over at quarterback while Brock Purdy is out. He’s thrown for over 1,400 yards and has a handful of touchdowns, keeping the offense moving. Christian McCaffrey has been a huge part of the offense too, running the ball hard and catching passes out of the backfield. He’s leading the team in both rushing and receiving yards, which is crazy. Even with so many injuries, the offense still looks dangerous because of players like him who can do a little bit of everything.
The defense has been just as impressive. Losing Nick Bosa for the season was a big blow, but the defensive line and linebackers have stepped up. Dee Winters has been making plays all over the field and has racked up a ton of tackles. The 49ers have been able to shut down teams and force turnovers, which has been key in keeping them ahead in games. They’re not perfect—they’ve had some struggles with consistency, especially when facing teams with strong passing attacks—but overall, their defense is still one of the best in the league.
Even with all the injuries, the 49ers are proving they’re one of the toughest teams in the NFL. Their depth, coaching, and ability to keep finding ways to win have made them look like serious Super Bowl contenders. If they can stay healthy and keep playing the way they have so far, this season could be really special for them.
4. The New England Patriots
The New England Patriots have been exceeding expectations in 2025, largely thanks to Drake Maye, who is playing like an MVP candidate. Through the first part of the season, he’s completing 75.2% of his passes, throwing for 1,744 yards, 12 touchdowns, and only 2 interceptions, with a passer rating of 116.4. His performance has been a huge factor in the team’s success so far, keeping the offense efficient and explosive.
The running back situation has been a major challenge, though. Starter Rhamondre Stevenson has been underperforming, and veteran Antonio Gibson is out for the season with an ACL injury. Rookie TreVeyon Henderson has shown flashes of promise, but his carries have been limited, leaving the team with a lack of depth and production in the backfield. On the other hand, the Patriots’ wide receiver and tight end groups have been fantastic. While some people might call them “mid-tier,” I honestly think they’re among the best in the league, giving Maye plenty of reliable weapons to attack defenses.
The offensive line has been significantly improved compared to last year. With new starters like rookie Will Campbell and free agents Morgan Moses and Garrett Bradbury, plus the guidance of new offensive line coach Doug Marrone, the line has been excellent in pass blocking and improved in run protection. Depth and consistency are still minor questions, particularly concerning Moses’ health, but overall it’s a huge step up for the team.
On defense, the Patriots’ line has gotten much better, though the lack of an elite edge rusher is noticeable. Without consistent pressure on the quarterback from the outside, the line relies heavily on interior strength, which works against weaker teams but can struggle against strong offensive lines or clever schemes. The linebackers are adapting really well to the aggressive system of new head coach Mike Vrabel, showing promise and making plays all over the field. The cornerbacks have been amazing, with Christian Gonzalez performing at an elite level, continuing his All-Pro form and proving to be one of the top corners in the NFL. The safeties have had a mixed season, veteran Jabrill Peppers is trying to rebound from last year, Kyle Dugger has been solid but his future is uncertain, and rookie Craig Woodson has had ups and downs but overall the secondary is holding together.
Special teams, which I honestly thought would struggle, have been surprisingly good this season. Multiple players have earned AFC Special Teams Player of the Week, and the kicking game under coordinator Jeremy Springer has been solid. That unit has actually been a strength for the team so far.
Overall, the Patriots are exceeding expectations. With Maye playing like an MVP, an improved offensive line, and a strong defense, they could make a serious playoff run. If they fix the remaining issues in the backfield and secondary depth, a Super Bowl run is absolutely possible, and it looks like Mike Vrabel was the right choice as head coach; his decision-making and scheme adjustments have already made a big difference this season.
3. The LA RAMS
The LA Rams are having an amazing season. On the offense side The Rams' offensive strengths include an elite passing game built around a deep receiving corps led by Puka Nacua and Davante Adams, a consistently effective rushing attack led by Kyren Williams, and a stable offensive line that benefits from continuity. The offense also shows strong third-down conversion rates and an ability to produce big plays. But even though they have a lot of strengths on offense they have a lot of weaknesses like The LA Rams' main offensive weaknesses in the 2025 season are a shaky interior offensive line, a lack of depth at slot receiver, and, at times, the health and age of quarterback Matthew Stafford. The interior line has been a liability due to injuries to key starters like Steve Avila and Kevin Dotson, while Atwell's role as the starting slot receiver is considered less than ideal for an offense that uses him in the system. Stafford's chronic back issue also requires management, creating potential vulnerability for the offense. The defense has many strengths like concern over its secondary, particularly its cornerbacks, although a dominant pass rush has helped to mitigate this issue. In the past, the run defense was also a weakness, but it has shown significant improvement this season, though concerns about pass-blocking are also present. They do have weaknesses like concern over its secondary, particularly its cornerbacks, although a dominant pass rush has helped to mitigate this issue. In the past, the run defense was also a weakness, but it has shown significant improvement this season, though concerns about pass-blocking are also present. Overall the LA Rams have a strong team and I think they could go to the superbowl or win the superbowl if they keep playing like they are now but they have to play better then the lions and I don’t know if that’s going to happen.
2. The Detroit lions
The Detroit Lions are having a dominating season. I will be honest I was worried about them when they lost to the packers in week one because they were playing awful but then its running back group and wide receiver talent, despite potential concerns about the offensive line and a new offensive coordinator. The team's running back room, featuring Jahmyr Gibbs and David Montgomery, is considered one of the best in the NFL, and there is abundant receiving talent as well. However, changes like the retirement of Frank Ragnow and the departure of Kevin Zeitler have raised questions about the offensive line's effectiveness, even though it has been a historical strength for the team. The transition to new offensive coordinator John Morton also presents a new dynamic for the offense's production was amazing. Even though all of this was good they still have weaknesses especially the interior offensive line's lack of experience and depth, particularly after the departures of Frank Ragnow and Kevin Zeitler. While the unit has shown improvement, early-season struggles and a lack of proven depth behind the starters remain a concern, notes Detroit Jock City. Another potential issue is the potential for complacency or inconsistent performance, despite overall offensive success, as highlighted in this article. The main weakness for the Lions' defense in 2025 is pass-rush depth, which is a concern if key players like Aidan Hutchinson or Marcus Davenport are sidelined. While the unit has been dominant at times, its performance dipped significantly after Hutchinson's injury last season, and a historical weakness against mobile quarterbacks has also been observed. In the short term, there could be minor adjustments as the defense adapts to new coordinator Kelvin Sheppard, but the long-term concern is pass-rush depth. The strength of the Lions' defense is its combination of a strong pass rush and improved secondary, which excels at preventing touchdowns, getting off the field on third downs, and creating turnovers. Overall though the lions have an amazing team and they are playing a lot better than other teams and playing better then last year already.
The Chiefs
The Kansas City Chiefs' 2025 season has been a journey of highs and lows, but as of Week 7, they're starting to hit their stride. After a rough 0–2 start, they’ve rebounded to a 4–3 record, including a dominant 31–0 shutout against the Raiders. That victory not only marked their first time above .500 this season but also showcased their potential when everything clicks.
Patrick Mahomes continues to be the heartbeat of this offense. Through seven games, he's thrown for 1,800 yards, 14 touchdowns, and just two interceptions, maintaining a 66.1% completion rate and a 102.9 passer rating. His ability to spread the ball around—highlighted by multiple touchdown connections to receivers like Marquise "Hollywood" Brown and Rashee Rice, keeps defenses guessing. The return of Rice from suspension added another dynamic weapon to the offense.
Isiah Pacheco remains a reliable presence in the backfield, leading the team with 271 rushing yards. While the Chiefs' rushing attack isn't elite, it complements their passing game well enough to keep defenses honest.
Defensively, the Chiefs have been impressive. They rank 3rd in the league in points allowed per game (17.7), showcasing a stifling unit that can control the tempo of games. In their Week 7 shutout against the Raiders, they limited Las Vegas to just 95 total yards and three first downs. Chris Jones remains a dominant force on the defensive line, and the secondary has been opportunistic, with Trent McDuffie leading the team with an interception.
However, the Chiefs aren't without their flaws. Their run defense has been inconsistent, ranking 15th in the league by allowing 105.7 rushing yards per game. This middle-of-the-pack performance can be exploited by teams with strong ground games. Additionally, while the offense has been efficient, they must ensure consistency to avoid turnovers and stalled drives.
Looking ahead, the Chiefs have the tools to contend. With Mahomes at the helm, a defense that can dominate, and a coaching staff led by Andy Reid, they have the foundation to make a deep playoff run. Addressing their run defense and maintaining offensive consistency will be key to their success moving forward.
In conclusion, the Chiefs' season has been a mix of high expectations and challenges. Their strengths in offense and defense provide a solid foundation, but addressing their run defense and maintaining offensive consistency will be key to their success moving forward.
