Ricky Wysocki has officially made disc golf history by passing $1 million in career tournament prize money, becoming the first professional disc golfer to reach this incredible milestone. This milestone is a huge achievement for Wysocki and the sport as a whole. Known for his powerful drives, clutch putting, and competitiveness, Wysocki has spent years establishing himself as one of the greatest players in disc golf. A two-time PDGA World Champion, he has consistently competed against the best in the world while getting victories left and right.
I was lucky enough to see him in person at Maple Hill Disc Golf Course in Leicester on September 24th, 2026, where he dominated the competition. He shot a total of 12 under par over the course of three days, taking home the victory.
This is just one of the many victories in his career, and it makes sense why he was the first to achieve this milestone. It also reflects the sport’s growth, as professional disc golf continues to attract larger audiences and offer increased prize money. Wysocki’s historic accomplishment sets a new standard for future generations and proves that disc golf is becoming a bigger and more rewarding professional sport.
