DCC Biology

BIO 105 and BIO 106 are recommended for students who wish to pursue studies in the Biological and Life Sciences.  Each course is 4 college credits.

This course is an interdisciplinary study of basic biological concepts including: 

• Nature of science

• Cells 

• Metabolism

• Ecology

• Genetics

• Evolution

• Human Anatomy &  Physiology

Prerequisites: 

• Chemistry

• Algebra 1: 84 or higher or Algebra 2: 76 or higher
