AP World History

Welcome to AP World! 

 Study the cultural, economic, political, and social developments that have shaped the world 1200 - present in a college-like environment!! 

The course is designed to provide students with an in-depth study of World history from the 13th century to modern day. In addition to course content, the course enhances analytical reading and essay writing skills.

To prepare for the AP exam, we will analyze texts, images, and other historical evidence. At the end of the course, students will be able to craft convincing arguments based in historical evidence.

WHAP takes a thematic approach to modern global history and aligns well with the Global 10 curriculum for the NY Regents Exam and stands in for Global 10.
