The Music program at Millbrook High School provides students with opportunities to develop their musical talents while being part of a collaborative and creative environment. Students can participate in vocal or instrumental ensembles and continue building their musical skills while performing with their peers.
Music classes focus on developing technique, musical understanding, and performance skills. Students learn how to read and interpret music, work together as an ensemble, and prepare for concerts and other performances throughout the year.
Students in the music program may have opportunities to:
• perform in band or chorus ensembles
• develop vocal or instrumental technique
• improve music reading and listening skills
• work collaboratively in rehearsals and performances
• participate in school concerts and community events
The music department encourages students of all experience levels to participate and grow as musicians while contributing to the artistic culture of Millbrook High School.
