The course includes the study of matter and its interactions. Units include Phases of Matter, Atomic Structure, Periodic Table, Formulas and Nomenclature, Bonding, Chemical Reactions, Energy and Kinetics, Equilibrium, Acids and Bases, Organic Chemistry, Electrochemistry, and Nuclear Chemistry. Students must complete a minimum of 1200 minutes of laboratory activities.  The Regents Examination will be given at the end of the year.
