Academic Support System

During my observation at the Laboratory School, College of Teacher Education, I had the opportunity to observe both a Kindergarten 1 and 2 classes on separate occasions. The Kindergarten 2 class consists of 25 students, while the kindergarten 1 class consists of 17 students. These observations took place over the course of two days during active teaching and learning sessions.

Although the official classrooms are currently under renovation due to the severe earthquake that struck the Philippines in 2022, the school provides adequate educational support facilities. The temporary classrooms where the learning activities took place are well equipped to support the learning experience. Each room is equipped with a TV, a whiteboard, 10 student desks  in kindergarten 2, numerous chairs, three fans, a fire alarm system, a speaker, and vibrant, child-friendly decorations that enhance the learning atmosphere.
