What's for lunch? A question always seems to be the top question going on in the school. People all have different kinds of feelings about the school lunches at Medina High School. We asked different kinds of questions to kids in the school. Some of the questions that were asked were How do you feel about school lunches? Do you think the lunch periods should be longer? and Do you think that the lunches should be free?
Senior Alexis Hall responded with, “the school lunches are alright sometimes, but some days are kinda bad, but it just depends on the day.” It is hard to feed all of the kids that go to our high school and we appreciate our lunch ladies. Of course the favorite lunch by far is the cheesy dippers day.
This school year the lunches are free again and senior Olivia Jagodnik said "They should continue the free school lunches forever because some kids are unfortunate to have some things and I think the free lunches help."
Sophomore Kyle Johnson said, “I actually do like the school lunches. I buy lunch everyday from school. I also think that they do a good job considering what they have and with all of the kids that go here.”
A survey of twenty kids in our school about whether or not they like the school lunches or not. The results were 51% of the kids said they didn't like it. 29.6% of the kids said they did like it and finally 18.5% of the kids liked it sometimes, just depending on the day.
The cafeteria also serves all kinds of different free lunches in case you don’t like an option. They have the regular lunch for that day, salads, cheeseburgers and also even a box lunch with different snacks and uncrustables. All of Medina High School kids appreciate that we could get free lunches.
