All four- year universities accept the ACT and over 4,000 in the United States and 85 across the world accept the SAT. If you plan on going to college, it is a good idea to at least take either test at least once. If you would like to take either test, there are some upcoming dates to know.;
The closest ACT test is October 23, 2021, and you must have been registered by October 1, 2021. The next opportunity is an SAT test November 6, 2021, which you must have been registered for by October 8, 2021. Following those are a December 11, 2021, ACT test and December 4, 2021, SAT test.
If you are wondering why you should take either test or consider it, a few different opinions might help.
First, Luke Pilarski, a senior at the high school, said, "...it helps set you up to get into the schools you want and it is not too much work, but it can definitely benefit you later on.”
Next Mrs. King, a counselor at the high school, was Interviewed for her opinions about the tests. I first asked if there was a certain amount of times a student should take the test to which she replied, “It depends on the student and what their plans are after high school as well as the results after their first test.”
Her overall thoughts on such tests is as follows, “It’s one piece of the puzzle; students are much more than what they do on a test. Just try your best and prepare yourself to do well.””.
