Meet your Medinamite Staff!

Hi, I'm Tylar :) I love horror movies, the Marvel universe, baking, rain, and listening to music. Outside of school, you can most likely find me working at Taco Bell or at home napping. Inside The Medinamite I hope to write articles relevant to myself and my peers while also raising awareness on topics that may not get enough recognition.

Hi! I’m Mackenzie Laps, a sophomore in high school! I love reading fiction, and writing narratives. I’m also into photography, horseback riding, and softball! This year, I would like to contribute my writing and photography skills to the 2022-23 Medinamite!

My name is Michael Warnement. I am a senior at Medina High School and I run cross country and track. I am involved in Link Crew and Key Club. I am a big sports guy and love spending time with the boys.

I’m Allison Custer and I’m a senior at MHS. I’m a member in Concert Choir, Women’s Chorus, and Encore Entertainment Co, and this is my second year as Choir Officer. I’m also in Drama Club and have been in several plays and musicals both in and out of school. I’m very excited to be joining the staff for The Medinamite this year because I think communication is important in building relationships by sharing our different experiences and needs, and I would like to contribute to the school community by helping our students connect with each other.

My name is Erin Block, I serve at Northside Christian church and teach third grade all the way down to preschool. I am in the Marching band and am currently involved in the MHS Hope Squad, and Huddle program. My favorite color is purple and I love hanging out with friends and family. I am excited to be a part of the school’s newspaper and hope to create fun and interesting content.

I’m Anthony Hamilton, and I am currently a senior here at Medina High School. I’m a clarinet section leader in the Medina Musical Bees marching band and I love playing my instrument! I want to contribute to Medinamite by spreading more information around the school about certain clubs that don’t get enough recognition.

My name is Evan Block. I love to talk about sports, play sports, and work at my job and make money. I plan to contribute more sports news to The Medinamite and I also plan to get as many topics and people involved to make the news more interesting and exciting to read.

I am Lucas Kennedy, a junior at Medina High school. This is my third year on the staff. I enjoy writing and drawing, and I plan on drawing comics for The Medinamite.

My name is Sylvia Webb, and I am a sophomore at Medina High School. I like to draw and write. I hope to help make The Medinamite even more fun than it already is!

Hi! My name is Trent Strebel, I'm a senior at MHS and I’m one of the students working on The Medinamite this year! In my free time I enjoy going to the gym, hanging out with my friends, and going in the Swarm on Friday nights. What I feel that I could bring to The Medinamite this year are some amazing photographs, since photography is one of my passions, and articles regarding student involvement throughout MHS, since I’ve been a Link Crew and Huddle leader for the past 2 years!

Mya Kennedy enjoys photography, drawing, and science. She hopes to contribute interesting and important things to The Medinamite.

I’m Laney Smith and I’m a junior at Medina. I am interested in writing articles for the Medinamite because I love writing and journalism is very interesting to me! I hope to bring awareness to different topics around Medina for the students at MHS.
