OUR PROJECT

GOALS - OBJECTIVES - LEARNING

The project schedule encourages and supports students to inquire about typical human behavior, habits, and consequences for nature and its drawbacks for each individual. Our goal is to primarily raise students’ awareness of environmental problems. Along with the project, however, students will also get detailed insights into the work of environmental organizations and political parties. They will be empowered to actively engage and create programs in order to take action.

We want our students to become ambassadors of the natural environment and to consciously take advantage of the opportunities offered to them by the modern world. We want to give the notion of "environmental protection" a meaning so it is not an empty slogan for them. We hope to teach them how to make knowledgeable life choices.

They will, hopefully, realize that every person counts and there is no effort too small or too insignificant on their way to a better cleaner world.

During the training, we will meet politicians, scientists, journalists, and activists to discuss the students' ideas, demands, and solutions for a sustainable lifestyle. If possible, we will meet members of the European Parliament in Brussels to present the results.

Students will learn:

- about climate change and environmental degradation in their own region and worldwide,

- about environmental and climate goals,

- about their own possibilities to be part of the goals,

- about different research methods, how to do scientific research and write reports about the results and

observations,

- to discuss their ideas with other students and teachers,

- to act in public and find a general audience for their demands,

- to develop a sustainable lifestyle and become role models,

- learn to present their ideas and demands with modern multimedia applications.
