The Concert Orchestra is an entry-level orchestra class open to all violin, viola, cello, and double bass musicians in grades 9-12. This ensemble performs at Walter Johnson High School's Winter and Spring Instrumental Music concerts. It is recommended that students have completed at least two years of orchestra classes at the middle school level before enrolling in Concert Band. All orchestra students must pass this class (or complete an equivalent-level high-school instrumental music course) before taking Walter Johnson's advanced-level ensembles, though upperclass students in grades 10-12 are welcome to take the course again for repeat credit!
