Completing FAFSA is an essential part of the college application process. 

Every student who plans to attend college should complete the FAFSA application. The FAFSA is NOT just a loan application; it determines various aid eligibility. 

Reminders:

• You MUST apply for FAFSA every year of college

• Use your personal email to create your FSA ID Account (see instructions below to create your FSA ID account)

• When you create your account, write down your username and password - you will need it again next year!

• Both student and parent/caregiver/contributor will need to create their separate FSA ID (applies to first-time users ONLY)

Remember you MUST complete your FAFSA before March 1, 2025, to be eligible for start aid.

FAFSA Eligibility:

Students must have a social security number and parent/guardian tax return from 2 years prior (for example, if you're applying for the 2025-2026 FAFSA application, you will need your parent/guardian's 2023 tax return) to complete the FAFSA application.
