At NextGen, we connect high school students with University of Maryland student volunteers who can share their experiences, answer questions, and help them feel more confident about the transition to college. We also partner with MCPS high schools to provide workshops and group mentoring, organize campus tours, and even social gatherings — all free for students. It’s a unique way for our high school students to meet UMD students and receive experiences and resources to help them prepare for their future.
