Transcripts may be required for a variety of different reasons. Depending upon the reason and type of transcript required, the process to request a transcript may vary. Please select the reason below that best matches your purpose for requesting a transcript, and follow the required steps. Please reach out to Ms. Barnes, Registrar, if you have any questions.
In order for QOHS to release and send out transcripts for our students to the colleges/universities they are applying to, we need for students to submit a signed Transcript Request Checklist. This can be picked up in the counseling office and MUST be returned to your counselor.
Also, it is important to understand the FERPA waiver and why it is a required component to the college application process. To read more about FERPA, please click here.
There are times when former students/Alumni may need to request their transcripts from us (transferring from one college/university to another, going from MC to a 4-year college/university, etc...). Should this pertain to you, please follow the steps below:
Please go to this link and pay for your transcript. The fee is $6.00 per transcript being requested. Nothing will be sent until this step has been completed.
Please complete the transcript request form. This will indicate where your transcript will be sent.
Once both of the above steps are completed, your request will be processed and your transcript(s) will be sent out within 2 business days. Please reach out to Ms. Barnes, Registrar, should you have any questions.

If you graduated from Quince Orchard more than 5 years ago, you will need to get your transcript(s) or diploma replacement from the MCPS Central Records office. Visit their website for more details: https://www.montgomeryschoolsmd.org/departments/sharedaccountability/records.
