To ensure logged hours are up to date and accurate, we use the following procedure to log and verify hours. See your hours requirement and how hours worked factor into your grade here. The timecard dates are given below. Each timecard is due in Canvas on the final day of the timecard window.
*Although the 3/23-4/7 timecard period ends on 4/7, it is not due until Q4 on 4/16.
A digital copy of the timecard sheet is available here. Physical copies will be available in class every Wednesday. I will keep copies in B305, if you need extra, stop by at any point. I will work on making a large amount of these sheets available outside of B305.
Write your name on the timecard.
Write the two week period start and end date using the table above.
Enter hours into the days of the table. Enter the hours value and minutes value onto the sheet.
If your internship is virtual, use the link in step one and make a copy of the document and type the data. Have them sign digitally. You will also sign the timecard.
Use the google drive app to scan the timecard. If you are logged into your student account, it will automatically be available in your google drive on your Chromebook. Android Instructions & Iphone Instructions.

You have already given the hour information, why do you have to give it again?
Sorry. I really am. Assuming this takes you 5 minutes to do this every two weeks, times 8 timecards in total this semester, times 90 students, this collectively wastes 60 hours of human life.
However, it is currently a requirement from MCPS that students use this platform to log hours. I like my job, so we will be doing this. Hours will only be counted towards your grade that have been added BOTH in Navigator and the canvas timecard submission.
You don't have to do anything for this step. I just want you to be aware that I am sending these recorded hours to your supervisor over email at the end of each quarter to be double checked. If it comes up that any hours are fabricated, the school's academic dishonesty policy applies to any hours not confirmed by the supervisor.
