Quick apply is an exciting new path towards finding an internship that we are excited to try next year. Quick apply is a way to make the process of finding an intern faster for both employers and students faster. Here is a basic overview of the quick apply process:
Employer enrolls in quick apply, gives BCC staff a list of qualities and skills that they are looking for
Students apply for the position by uploading their resume and general info once. Then, for each company you are interested in you filling out the company's google form below. Students are limited to a maximum of 10 quick apply applications. Check to see the list of companies you have applied and that your resume has been uploaded in the student portal.
The application round closes. The Work Based Learning team reviews applicants and prepares a short list of top applicants to send to the employer. In practice, this will look like reducing the candidate pool from for example 15 > 3.
The employer makes an offer. After reviewing the short list of candidates, the employer makes the decision of how many offers to extend and reaches out to students directly.
Round 1 closes April 13
Round 2 closes June 2
Detailed instructions for submitting quick apply applications will be available by Feb 1 at the latest.
An exhaustive list of employers who are interested in quick apply will be added here by Feb 1. After that, it should keep growing week after week.
