The Varsity dropped two Duals to top 5 ranked Mt. Carmel and Lockport while defeating Bishop McNamara. Coming out on top for the Indians with 3 victories was Dominic Schiavone at 126.
The Girls wrestled their first "dual" of the season vs Lockport. Minooka Girls won 5 of the 13 matches and showed a lot of grit throughout the day.
The Freshman Team dropped 3 duals to Conant, Lockport, and Glenbard North while forfeiting multiple weight classes. Lots of individual bright spots for the Minooka despite the team results.
THIS WEEK 11/29 - 12/4
Varsity and JV boys head to Oswego for the opener of SPC Conference matches on Thursday.
SATURDAY is a busy Day.
Varsity is has 4 duals at the Plainfield North Mega Dual
JV has 4 Duals at the OPRF Quad
Fr/So has a tournament at Coal City HS.
SEASON KICKOFF
On Monday 11/22 Minooka JV, Fr/So, and Girls teams traveled to BBCHS to get some matches vs BBCHS, Manteno, and Ottawa. All three levels competed well.
We got our first few victories of the inaugural girls wrestling season.
FALL 2021 - Kicking Off with Open Gyms
The 2021 - 22 wrestling team is shaking off the dust and getting ready for a great season. Open gyms are currently Monday Tuesday and Thursday after School . Open Gyms are not limited to just high school wrestlers. All Minooka Wrestling Family members are welcome.

MINOOKA INDIANS ELITE WC BACK IN 2021
The Minooka Indians Elite WC will be back in 2021-22 providing wrestling opportunities for area youth. With a rebranding and refocus of the club MIEWC will be focusing on the LITTLE INDIANS k-4 FUNdamentals program.
