The IESA PROGRAMS of the Minooka Wrestling Family are rich in tradition dating back to the 1980’s. Since 1980, the IESA has crowned 37 STATE CHAMPIONS from the Minooka Wrestling Family
Since the beginning of the IESA State Series in 1980 Wrestlers from the MINOOKA WRESTLING FAMILY have earned 166 ALL STATE honors from the IESA STATE TOURNAMENT.

Channahon Jr High
Wrestling out of Three Rivers Middle School - Channahon Jr High offers a season that begins in the first week of December and culminates in the IESA State Series in March.
Channahon has produced 81 All-State wrestlers since 1980 including 19 State Champions. Channahon is lead by veteran coach Cory Dillon and competes in the class A division of the IESA State Series. Wrestlers that compete from Channahon will be transported to Three Rivers everyday after school for practice. The school provides transportation to dual meets and tournaments. Additionally wrestling for CJH provides you with quality coaching, practices everyday, and pride in competing with your classmates for your school.
Minooka Jr High
Minooka Jr High practices out of the Intermediate (5-6 grade building). Practices are held after school in the gymnasium. The Season starts in December and culminates in the IESA State Series in March. The School provides transportation to and from dual meets and tournaments.
Starting in 2021, the MJH wrestling program will be lead by former MCHS Head Coach - Bernie Ruettiger. Coach Ruettiger brings 35 years of coaching experience to the mat. Everyone is excited to welcome coach Ruettiger back into the program. MJH offers quality coaching with practices everyday after school. Wrestling for MJH provides the opportunity to represent your school with pride.
Minooka Jr High has rich tradition of success with 80 All State wrestlers including 17 State Champs.
Troy Jr High
Troy Jr High practice at the Middle School. While only a few of the Troy students attend Minooka High School, we have seen many kids from Troy become great wrestlers at Minooka. Like the other IESA programs Troy wrestling starts in December and runs through the IESA State Tournament in March. If your interested in wrestling for Troy inquire with the school Athletic Director.
