MINOOKA WRESLTING IS A FAMILY AFFAIR.
Brothers, Sisters, Moms, and Dads all benefit from becoming part of the family. But even more than that you will find that your Family becomes larger as you build life long bonds with your teammates and their families. For many families, their membership in the Minooka Wrestling Family becomes a life long experience.

Every year over 300 + youngsters compete for the Minooka Wrestling Family. While we live in different townships, go to different schools and compete for different programs, we ALL have one BELIEF:

HIGH SCHOOL

Minooka High School has a rich HISTORY dating back to the 1960s. The greater Joliet area has always been an area rich in hardworking athletes that seek out the best competition. This formula has produced some great results. The current members of the Minooka Wrestling Family are working hard to continue this rich tradition.


Minooka Wrestling exists to improve the lives of area youth through the sport of wrestling. We strive to make boys into responsible men that positively contribute to our society. Wrestling is bigger than any one person or one match. Wrestling is a lifestyle of goal setting, commitment, and hard work. .

Every year 200+ future MCHS wrestlers experience the great sport of wrestling in 5 different feeder programs.

Throughout the years, 30+ members of the Indian Wrestling Family have been crowned Youth Level State Champions

LITTLE INDIANS - FUNdamentals program

The Little Indians FUNdamental program is designed to introduce the sport to youth that live in the High School District #111. This includes youth from Minooka #201, Channahon#17, and parts of Troy #30. The focus is to provide a positive first experience in the sport of wrestling for ages 5-10. IESA WRESTLING

Since 1980 Minooka Jr High 201 and Channahon Jr High 17 has both provided area middle schoolers with the opportunity to compete for their school. 159 of these wrestlers have earned all-state honors through their participation in the IESA State series.

CHANNAHON JR HIGH - 5th - 8th Grade
Starting in 5th grade, Channahon school district students can begin competing for their school. CJH Practices begin in December each year at Pioneer Path grade school immediately after school. CJH participates in dual meets and tournaments throughout a season that culminates in the IESA State tournament in March.

SHOREWOOD TROY JR HIGH - 5th - 8th Grade

Starting in 5th grade, Minooka school district students can begin competing for their school. Troy practices are held after school at the Troy Middle School. MJH Practices begin in December each year at Minooka Intermediate immediately after school. MJH participates in dual meets and tournaments throughout a season that culminates in the IESA State tournament in March.

New to the Minooka Wrestling Family is the Demolition Wrestling Club.
Housed in a private facility in Minooka, IL, the Demolition Wrestling Club provides year long training and is open to any youth. Demolition offers programs for as young as 5 years old all the way through High School. Looking for that extra training? Need some extra practice time? Demolition can provide it for you.
