2007

2007 was a special group. This collection of young men was a culmination of a build that began with a bunch of 5th graders in 2001.

Through consistent hard-nosed effort the 2007 team grinded out the most domininant Individual Sectional performance in Minooka Wrestling History.

Heading into the final round of the sectional tournament the Indians 11 Sectional qualifiers had managed to lose only 2 matches the entire tournament. Minooka sent 9 wrestlers to the Championship bouts and another in the 3rd place match.

At the Individual State Tournament, the 2007 squad brought home a record 4 State Medals.

Brian Bokoski - Kevin Bokoski - Ken Zabel - Steve Olin.

A few days later, Minooka sealed another trip to the Elite Eight with a Sectional Title. The 2007 Squad lost in the quarterfinals to a scrappy Hononegah squad.
