“Rocky Spiral” celebrates the trees surrounding this art piece bringing the attention to them instead of walking by and not noticing them. The “Rocky Spiral” is rocks that start big then as the spiral goes on they get tinier. My partner and I collaborated on our art together and decided to use rocks only. The only tricky thing about this was finding the siz,e but we decided on that when we saw the open space in the trees. It was a lot easier finding materials with the help of my partners Clayton and JaeQuin!
The person looking at the art piece is going to ask themselves, “who made this?” This was a fun piece to make because we got to put all the different sized rocks in the right places so it looks cool. Having a partner during this project was helpful because it would’ve taken way more time for me to go out and collect all the rocks by myself and put them all where they were supposed to go without a partner.
