The saying goes, "it's hard to beat a good team 3 times." But that's exactly what our Patriots did on Tuesday night defeating the Lions to clinch the outright conference title remaining unbeaten with a perfect 8-0 record!
Seniors, Kinley Logeman and Lydia McCraw led the way combining for 13 kills in the match. Maia Jones (3), Logann Miller (2), and Selena Graves (1) also picked up kills for the team.
Leading the defense were seniors Hallee Smallman and Natalie Evans who combined for 30 digs. Hannah Edwards (7), Kaylee Jones (6), and Logeman (5) were also key defensively.
M. Jones led all Patriots with 4 block points. McCraw (3) and Miller (2) also contributed to the block.
Serving tough included K. Jones (2), Miller, Edwards, Smallman, and Logeman who each tallied aces in the win.
Edwards was tops in assists accumulating 16 on the night.

It was "Pink Out" night in Herrin, but at the end day, it was all red, white, and blue as our Lady Patriots swept the night winning all matches in 2-sets.

Offensively, Kinley Logeman and Lydia McCraw led the way combining for 17 kills. Maia Jones and Hannah Edwards combined for 10 kills as well.
Defensively, the Patriots were TOUGH! Hallee Smallman picked up a season-high 41 digs! Logeman and Natalie Evans also recorded 19 and 15 digs respectively.
Serving leaders were Kaylee Jones and Smallman who each notched 2 aces.
McCraw was tops in blocks with 3.
Edwards finished the match with an assist percentage of 24%. Evans and Smallman each recorded 3 assists as well.

Offensively, Massac used an assortment of attackers with Lydia McCraw leading the way with 7 kills. Kinley Logeman and newcomer Maia Jones picked up 5 kills apiece as well. Logann Miller chipped in with 3 kills of her own.
The defensive effort was led by Hallee Smallman and Logeman who each recorded 10 digs. Natalie Evans picked up 9 digs in the win as well. Kaylee Jones had 7 digs.
