Sectional Tournament at Salem (11/4 - 11/6)
WIN- Shelbyville (25-6, 25-14)
- One word- Execution. That word pretty much epitomizes the Lady Pats performance in the sectional semi-final against Shelbyville. Serve, receive, hit, dig, block... you name it.
LOSS- Fairfield (17-25, 23-25)
- Despite the hot start to open the match and the fierce come-back at the end, Fairfield's blocking and play-making ability was simply too much to overcome in the Sectional Championship at Salem High School.
Regional Tournament at Hamilton County (10/28 - 10/31)
WIN- Harrisburg (25-15, 22-25, 25-16)
- Massac County took the Lady Bulldogs best punch... stumbled for bit... but regained their composure to finish off a tough regional semi-final match-up.
WIN- Mt. Carmel (25-23, 29-27)
- The 14th point. Wow... what a game! Our Lady Patriots were resilient to the end... and calm under pressure... winning the school's 6th Regional title!

- For the final home match of 2019, the MCHS band was cranking out the tunes during a three win night for the Lady Patriots.
- Seniors Jessie Lewis and Kara Womack dominated the night connecting on 12 kills.
- Defensively, Madison Hammonds led all Patriots with 24 digs. Sydney Wilke also recorded 18 digs in the win.
- Hammonds and Wilke also combined for 15 service points and 5 aces.

WIN- West Frankfort (25-8, 25-17)
- A clean sweep... what a feat! Our Lady Patriots volleyball program made it a clean sweep winning the Ohio Division of the R-to-R conference at all three levels- freshmen, JV, and Varsity!
- In the varsity match, Jessie Lewis and Cali McCraw combined for 22 kills and 4 blocks.
- Kara Womack led all Massac players dishing out 30 assists. Womack also recorded 7 service points.
- Defensively, Madison Hammonds led the Lady Pats with 10 digs. Sophie Bormann also picked up 8 digs in the match.
- Hailey Edwards contributed 2 kills and 4 service points in the win.
WIN- Benton (25-11, 22-25, 25-15)
- Our Lady Patriots had to fight off a defensively sound Benton Rangerettes team to earn the OUTRIGHT River-to-River conference championship for the Ohio Division.
- Madison Hammonds filled up a stat sheet in the win recording 31 digs, 6 service points, 5 kills, and 8 / 8 serve receive.
- Maci Miller led all Massac players from the service line going 16 / 18 with 13 points.
- Jessie Lewis and Cali McCraw led all players with 15 and 7 kills respectively.
- Monique Hart and Hailey Edwards contributed a combined 8 kills and 9 blocks.
- Sydney Wilke (23), Kara Womack (14), Sophie Bormann (13), and Lewis (12) also recorded double-digit digs.
WIN- Caldwell County (25-22, 25-21, 25-19)
- In a best 3 out of 5 match with the hosting Lady Tigers of Caldwell County, KY, our Massac County seniors flexed some muscle across the river.
- Outside hitter Jessie Lewis broke the school record for Most Kills recording 25 kills.
- Kara Womack set up her favorite target on her way to a school record 46 assists.
- Cali McCraw (12), Monique Hart (6), and Madison Hammonds (5) were also explosive offensively recording numerous kills of their own.
- Sydney Wilke picked up 15 digs and 9 service points in the match.
- Jenna Bunting was 9 / 9 serving with 6 digs.
WIN- Harrisburg (25-11, 25-18)
- After over a week without a game, our Lady Pats took to the road for a conference match-up with the Harrisburg Lady Bulldogs.
- Offensively, Kara Womack dished out a game-high 18 assists to go with her game-high 9 service points.
- Jessie Lewis and Cali McCraw imposed their will throughout the match accounting for 19 kills and 10 blocks.
- Sydney Wilke and Madison Hammonds combined for 20 digs.
- Ashley Davis was a perfect 8 / 8 from the service line scoring 5 points with 3 aces.
WIN- Murphysboro (forfeit)
- Unfortunately the Murphysboro match was cancelled due to circumstances outside their volleyball team's control.
WIN- Benton (25-16, 25-16)
- Hot gym... Great crowd! It was a showdown of River-to-River conference unbeatens, but our Lady Pats were locked in and focused to remain unblemished against the Rangerettes.
- Statistically, Jessie Lewis and Cali McCraw owned the net recording a combined 20 kills and 6 blocks.
- Madison Hammonds and Sydney Wilke were strong defensively combining for 30 digs. Maci Miller and Sophie Bormann also chipped in with 7 and 6 digs respectively.
- Kara Womack led all players with 18 assists and 14 service points on the night.
WIN- Herrin (25-16, 25-15)
- It's Homecoming Week for Massac County High School and what a way to keep the festivities rolling! Our Lady Pats cruised to a River-to-River conference win defeating the visiting Tigers in straight sets.
- Offensive juggernaut Jessie Lewis obliterated the school record for Most Kills in a match hammering home 21 kills.
- Kara Womack kept fueling the hot hitter on her way to a game-high 24 assists. Womack also recorded a team-high 3 aces.
- Sydney Wilke (13) and Madison Hammonds (12) led all players in digs.
- Cali McCraw, Lewis, and Monique Hart each recorded a block point in the win.

It was five tough matches against five quality opponents, but our Lady Patriots held serve on their home court fending off the competition for a 5-0 tournament championship.

- Kara Womack, Jenna Bunting, and Hailey Edwards were perfect from the service line combining for a 7 / 7 night.
- Offensively, Jessie Lewis and Cali McCraw combined for 16 kills. Womack and Monique Hart also recorded 3 kills apiece.
- Defensively, Lewis (16), Madison Hammonds (8), and Sydney Wilke (8) led in digs.
- Kelis Adams led all Massac players racking up 6 blocks in the match.
WIN- Murphysboro (25-23, 25-23)
- Team balance made the difference in a back and forth battle with the Lady Red Devils in a match up of conference contenders.
- Massac hitters Jessie Lewis, Madison Hammonds, and Cali McCraw each recorded at least 7 kills.
- Monique Hart added 3 kills including the match clinching kill.
- Madison Hammonds (22) and Sydney Wilke (16) led in digs for the Lady Patriots.
- Kelis Adams, Hart, and McCraw combined for 10 total blocks in the match.
- Kara Womack tossed out a game-high 25 assists.

- Perseverance. Massac County had to overcome 12 missed serves to fend off a very hungry Lady Lions team on their home court.
- Senior Kara Womack filled up a stat sheet recording 25 assists, 13 digs, 8 service points, and 2 kills.
- Madison Hammonds was also a big lift to her team statistically notching 8 kills, 8 service points, 3 aces, 3 assists, to go with her team-high 31 digs!
- Jessie Lewis led all Patriots with 14 kills. Monique Hart scored 6 kills as well.
- And Hailey Edwards contributed 4 kills and 3 blocks in the win.
WIN- West Frankfort (25-13, 25-19)
- In a sweltering gym, Massac cruised to a 2-set victory over the host Lady Redbirds.
- Senior outside hitter Jessie Lewis tied a school record putting down 16 kills in the match. Madison Hammonds and Monique Hart were also impressive combining for another 12 kills.
- Libero Sydney Wilke picked up a team-high 10 digs to go with her 9 service points.
- Ashley Davis notched two aces from the service line.
- Kara Womack recorded 28 assists for a 46% assist margin.
WIN- Herrin (25-8, 25-7)
- In the conference opener against the Tigers, our Lady Pats were focused and determined to come away with a win.
- Sophomore Hailey Edwards stepped in at middle hitter and provided her team with a lift recording 5 blocks and a kill.
- Jessie Lewis led all Patriots slamming down 12 kills. Monique Hart was also a perfect 9 / 9 hitting.
- Madison Hammonds recorded a game-high 21 digs to go with her game-high 17 service points.
- Sydney Wilke also recorded 9 service points on a perfect 11 / 11 serving.
- Kara Womack dished out a team-high 17 assists for an impressive 44% assist.
WIN- Edwards County (25-17, 25-17)
- Good to be back in front of our home fans after a long weekend... our Lady Pats took care of business against a very solid Edwards County volleyball program winning at all three levels.
- At the varsity level, offensive balance of attack was again key with Lewis, McCraw, and Hammonds each putting down at least 6 kills.
- Defensively, Sydney Wilke and Hammonds combined to pick up 18 digs on the night.
- The net was well protected as well with Monique Hart, Kelis Adams, McCraw, and Lewis combining for 10 total blocks.
- Top servers for Massac County include Kara Womack (10 service points) and Sophie Bormann (7 service points).

- There were plenty of fireworks at the 2019 River-to-River Conference Preview. A good sign for some great volleyball this Fall! But when the dust settled, our Lady Pats were still standing to accept the 2nd place trophy after a very long day.
- Congratulations to Jessie Lewis and Cali McCraw for being named to the All Tournament team!
- Congratulations to Madison Hammonds for breaking the MCHS School Record for Most Digs in a 2-set match! Madison broke the previous record (27 digs) during the Pinckneyville match recording 33 digs! But that's not where she stopped. Madison then picked up 35 digs in the Nashville match to push her new record just a little bit further!
- Congratulations to Kara Womack for breaking the MCHS School Record for Most Assists in a 2-set match! Kara dished out 31 assists during the Nashville match!
