Despite a gutsy defensive performance, our Lady Pats simply weren't able to match the firepower from the Foxes of Hamilton County.
Defensively, dig leaders Bormann (33), Conkle (30), and Gower (27) put up a great performance.
Offensively, Edwards, Hart, Adams, and Gower each recorded at least 4 kills.
Kelis Adams led all Patriots in blocking tallying 6 total blocks.
Abigail Martin dished out a team-high 21 assists.
WIN- Vienna (25-15, 25-11)
"Win and advance" is the name of the game in the post-season. Our Lady Pats got things rolling en route to a 2-set regional semi-final win.
Monique Hart and Hailey Edwards were too much to handle combining for 19 kills and 7 blocks.
Abigail Martin (24) led all Pats in assists.
Defensively, Adalyn Gower (22), Libby Conkle (17), Sophie Bormann (17), and Edwards (10) were tops in digs.
Bormann (4), Gower (2), Hart (1), and Edwards (1) were the ace leaders.

Juniors Sophie Bormann (21 digs), Monique Hart (4 kills), Olivia Farmer (7 assists), Allie Batha (9 service points), and Celeigh Culver (1 kill) filled up the stat sheet.
Sophomores Libby Conkle (16 digs), Abigail Martin (13 assists), Adalyn Gower (4 kills), Brooke Cissell (3 / 3 serve receive), and Katie Frazine (1 kill) also contributed to the win.

Massac County finished up the 2021 conference slate with a 2-set win over the Redbirds finishing out a 9-1 conference championship season!
Seniors Hailey Edwards and Kelis Adams combined for 17 kills and 6 blocks.
Sophie Bormann and Adalyn Gower each picked up 14 digs with Libby Conkle adding 12 digs of her own.
Monique Hart tallied 5 blocks and 2 kills.
Abigail Martin finished with 19 assists and 1 block for point.
WIN- Benton (25-13, 25-23)
In front of our amazing home crowd, our Lady Pats clinched the outright conference championship defeating the Rangerettes. This is only the 5th time Massac County has won the River-to-River Conference Title.
Seniors Kelis Adams and Hailey Edwards were not going to be denied this title as they combined for 14 kills and 3 blocks for point.
Monique Hart was also key in the win contributing 4 kills and 5 blocks of her own.
Sophie Bormann (27), Libby Conkle (27), and Adalyn Gower (23) were dig leaders for the Pats.
Allie Batha served a perfect 6 / 6 finishing out the match on a game clinching 5 point scoring run!
Brooke Cissell (8 digs) and Abigail Martin (21 assists) were also key in the win.

In a match-up of cross-state rivals, our Lady Patriots slowly built up steam before exploding in the 3rd set to close out the match.

Strong serving and offensive execution were key in a much needed conference road win against the Bulldogs.
Hailey Edwards and Monique Hart combined for 15 kills on the night. Kelis Adams and Sophie Bormann each added 4 kills of their own. Newcomer Katie Frazine chipped in with 2 kills as well.
Dig leaders: Libby Conkle (20), Bormann (17), Allie Batha (8), Abigail Martin (7), Olivia Farmer (3), and Brooke Cissell (2).
Hart (3) and Batha (2) led all Patriots in aces.
Martin had a team-high 21 assists.

In a crucial conference match-up between title contenders, our Lady Patriots were sharp from start to finish cruising to a straight sets victory.
Offensive balance was evident with Edwards, Hart, Gower, Bormann, and Adams each recording at least 2 kills.
Leading the Patriots in blocking was Monique Hart with 3 block points.
Assist leader, Abigail Martin, finished with 25 assists.
Defensively, Gower, Bormann, Conkle, and Edwards picked up at least 8 digs each.
WIN- Paducah Tilghman (25-16, 25-8)
Homecoming week in Massac County and our Lady Patriots put on a show cruising to a 2-set win over the visiting Tornadoes.
Offensively, Sophie Bormann and Hailey Edwards combined for 16 kills.
Abigail Martin (16) and Allie Batha (3) led all Massac players in assists.
Dig leaders include Adalyn Gower (10), Bormann (9), and Libby Conkle (6).
Protecting the net were Kelis Adams and Edwards who each recorded at least 4 blocks.
LOSS- Benton (25-21, 21-25, 25-27)
Scrappy defense and an effective blocking scheme lifted the Benton Rangers to a home win over the visiting Lady Patriots.
Defensively, Libby Conkle and Sophie Bormann each totaled 31 digs with Adalyn Gower adding 28 digs as well.
Massac County blocking was also tough at the net with Kelis Adams (6) and Monique Hart (5) leading the way.
Offensively, Monique Hart (8), Hailey Edwards (8), Gower (6), Adams (5), and Bormann (5) led in kills.

It took 3-sets and an improved offensive attack to turn back the visiting Herrin Tigers.

Martin accumulated a team-high 36 assists.

Monique Hart had the hot hand pummeling 9 kills on only 10 attacks. Hailey Edwards (9), Kelis Adams (5), and Sophie Bormann (5) also contributed to the offensive attack.
Setting up the offense were assist leaders Abigail Martin (22) and Olivia Farmer (3).
Adalyn Gower and Libby Conkle led all Pats in digs with 10 and 7 respectively.
Adams and Conkle each recorded 2 aces.

Hailey Edwards led the Patriots with 12 kills. Kelis Adams and Monique Hart combined for 11 kills as well.
Defensively, Massac was led by Sophie Bormann (27), Libby Conkle (20), and Adalyn Gower (15) in defensive digs.
Gower was tops from the service line tallying 10 points and 3 aces.
