A green screen simply allows you to remove the background of an image or video and replace it with a photo or video of your choice. The color green is used because human skin lacks green pigment. With the green screen app (available on the makerspace iPads), it is easy to place yourself in the Sahara Desert, become the size of a bug, report live from a sporting event, fly above the clouds, star in your own comic strip, or take a magic carpet ride to a famous landmark.
