The Science of Sound

Mr. Schwalbe teaches the science of sound to the 5th grade classes. After discussing how sound is created and the various characteristics of sound (amplitude, frequency, etc.), students were ready to create their own instruments. Using everyday objects, students had to create an instrument that produced sounds of varying pitch and volume.
