Registration Information
We are now accepting registration for signing up for participation in athletics and co-curricular activities during the summer months and during the upcoming 2024-2025 school year. All of our athletic offerings and co-curricular activities, including marching band, color and winter guard, unified special olympics, challenger, intramurals and weight room can be found within the Genesis Parent Portal. We are no longer using Family ID. Again, registration for all of our athletic offerings and co-curricular activities can be found within the Genesis Parent Portal.
Please follow the steps outlined below for registering in the Genesis Parent Portal:
Log into the Parent Portal and click on Forms
Click on Summer Participation Forms for sports not offered in the Fall.
Click on Summer/Fall Participation Forms for all Fall sports.
Complete the forms and select a sport/s
If an updated sports physical is required, print out the Sports Physical Documents and bring them to your child’s Dr.
A sports physical is valid for 365 days from the date of the exam
If your child’s sports physical expires before November 20th, an updated sports physical is required
Submit the updated sports physical documents to the Nurses at the High School main entrance on the announced dates.
The deadline for registering in the Genesis Parent Portal is June 10 for all Summer Recess and August 5 for Fall.
The deadline for submitting sports physical paperwork for participation during the summer months and during the 2023-2024 school year is June 10.
Our school nurses will be collecting sports physical paperwork at one district location at the high school main entrance on June 3 and June 10th from 4:00pm - 6:00pm.
Important: After submitting an updated sports physical, registration in the Genesis Parent Portal is required before the start of each season; Summer, Fall, Winter, & Spring.
Please be sure to contact your school nurse or the Athletic Office by e-mail at athletics@marsd.org if you should have any questions concerning the expiration date of your child’s sports physical.

MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of the Husky ALC is for Student-Athlete leaders to create a positive environment through community service, school spirit, and leadership activities that will impact the school community. The goals of the Council are as follows:
Encourage student participation and involvement in co-curricular activities --"Become Involved!"
Facilitate communication among MRHS Administration, Coaches, and Student-Athletes
Reinforce the importance of equity as a priority throughout all school endeavors
Develop Student-Athletes into leaders that are viewed as role models on and off the field of play
Create a positive connection among Student-Athletes and all stakeholders within our school community.
