Sports Day
2023
KS1 Sports Day
Thankfully the rain held off and we enjoyed a fantastic morning! The children took part in a carousel of activities in which they practised long jump, beat the goalie, skipping, egg and spoon shuttle, target throw and much more. This was followed by running races, with fantastic efforts from all children. Even the relays went smoothly! The inevitable parent's race saw more trips than expected... but lots of fun! Thank you to everyone who came and supported our incredible students; we are so proud of them.
KS2 Sports Day
The afternoon was also a success, seeing KS2 children take part in their Sports Day. It was lovely to see how much the children enjoyed themselves and how loud they could cheer! We saw KS2 children leap over hurdles, sprint down the track, complete in long distance races, relays and obstacle courses. It was certainly a highlight seeing the Year 6 House Captains get dressed up in silly outfits by children in their house. Jack fashioned a red, glittery cowboy hat, whilst Alice drowned in a curtain-like cape! We ended the afternoon with some rather competitive parent races and the children cheered as Mr Dosad took part in the teachers race, with Mr Clark taking the win.
A special shoutout to Miss Brown's dancers who performed their fantastic routine as we welcomed parents and carers in. Well done girls.
Thank you to everyone who turned up to support the children, it really means alot to both the students and staff. Another successful year of sporting events!
