We had a fantastic trip to Folkestone, where myself and the children had a fun-filled day full of hysterical laughter and the children got an insight into what a past holiday destination looked like. We looked at how and why coastal attractions have changed and the children then collected data based on how many different things there are for tourists to do in Folkestone. The children were able to record this in a tally chart and represent it on a bar chart.

In Science, we have continued looking at light. The children have also enjoyed several science experiments, looking at shadows and how these change based on distance.

In maths, we have been looking at turns, angles and shapes.

We were also lucky enough to be invited to the Year 6 exhibition, where the children were able to interact with the Year 6's about their own inquiry projects. The children absolutely loved it and were really inspired by the older children
