Central idea: Evidence of past civilizations can be used to make connections to present day societies.

What a fantastic week! The children absolutely loved their trip to the British Museum, looking at several civilizations especially the Ancient Egyptians. The children were fascinated by the artefacts and were able to engage and understand what life was like. Later in the week the children were able to look at the different types of sources they now have including research, books, images and real life artefacts to explain how these help to inform us about  a particular time period. It was a pleasure to take them and they were extremely well behaved!

In maths we have started looking at perimeter and in Science we have carried on looking at magnets and forces.
