Central idea: The Earth's physical processes may influence people's lives.

In inquiry this week we have focused on how volcanoes are formed after looking at layers of earth and tectonic plates. The children have written an explanation text on how volcanoes are formed, along with creating their own volcano and videoing their very own eruption! While finally recording an audio explanation.

The children are enjoying our Reading comprehension text 'Escape from Pompeii' and they are thoroughly enjoying deepening their understanding and making links to their inquiry learning.

In maths, we have just finished our unit on multiplication and division, but keep up the timetables practise! 

We have also continued our understanding of rocks in Science.
