3B Learning Update

Central idea: People can go on vacation to explore different communities.

We began the week by being lucky enough to watch two dance performances, called Deva and another called How to Build a Universe. Both pieces allowed the children to interpret the dancing however the wished. It also linked to our inquiry looking and dance styles from different cultures and communities. The children noticed the type of music and made a link to some of the pieces of music they are composing at the moment.

In inquiry this week, we have continued writing our narrative inspired by a journey.

In maths we have began looking at turns and angles. The children have enjoyed the practical side to their maths learning this week.

The children absolutely loved sports day. It was lovely to see them encouraging each other and everyone taking part. They especially enjoyed watching their parents and teachers race! I am so proud of all of them!
