3/4D Learning Update

Central idea: Water management can play a role which influences the environment

This week we have concluded our science unit of living things and their habitats. Everyone has created an interactive book with fun imagery and pop up sections. They have included information about the seven life processes, amazing plants, invertebrates, fantastic fish and amazing amphibians and lastly remarkable reptiles and beautiful birds. They have researched, shared and recorded a variety of facts and information about these living things and their habitats.

In maths we have been continuing our learning on shape and their properties. We have been identifying right angles, acute angles and obtuse angles. We have then been comparing and ordering these angles as well as completing shapes that include a variety of angles.

In reading we have continued to follow the adventures of Nim, Alex and Jack in Nim's Island. We have been reflecting upon characters decisions and actions and making predictions based around what we have read so far.
