2D Learning Update

Central idea: Human behaviour can affect the survival of our planet.

This week, we have been writing narratives focused around human causes of endangerment. Using our agency, we selected our own character and wrote about them (or wrote as them) within a situation where they are impacted by a form of endangerment. Some of us wrote as animals, trees - we even had a few brave souls who wrote as litter and the sea! It was great to see how deforestation, the ice caps melting and other elements of global warming were linked in and how we were really thinking about how what we do impacts others within our planet.

In maths, we have explored temperature and have begun exploring position and direction. The beebots were great in helping us understand and apply movement and directional language.

We also had our sports day this week- well done to Rainforest house who were the winners!
