Central idea: Water management can play a role which influences the environment

This week has been a week of creativity. We have followed the story of Sally in 'Letting Swift River Go'. With this we have created a diary written as Sally full of emotive language and events from the story. We then looked at a range of poems to gain inspiration to write our own about Swift River. We use a wide range of figurative language and rhyming to complete out poems, these were then illustrated beautifully.

In science we have been learning about living things and their habitats, completing the next two pages to our interactive books that we are creating. We made a pop up tree and a range of interesting facts about plants. On the next page we created an information wheel and wrote facts about invertebrates.

We are over half way without class text, Nim's Island, seeing her adventure build and problems occur.
