2D Learning Update

Central idea: Human behaviour can affect the survival of our planet.

This week, we have moved onto our second line of inquiry focused on human causes of endangerment. We begun by looking at how we, as humans, are endangering our planet- deforestation, global warming and littering were just a few ways in which we are causing harm. We considered how all these different ways were causing danger to our planet.

We used this to then think about how we felt, knowing that what we are doing is damaging our planet and all who live on it- our emotions ranged from sadness to worry to anger which we were able to effectively show in a diary entry!

In maths, we have explored volume and capacity, and have been able to make links with not only our other measurement learning, but other mathematical learning from throughout this year! In reading, we are exploring the very famous 'Just So Stories' by Rudyard Kipling.

In outdoor learning this week, we made kites using natural resources which was very exciting!
