For example, the red colors in fireworks are created when strontium carbonate is used. Copper chloride results in blue fireworks.

Flammability is a chemical property that you are familiar with. As you may know, alcohol burns with oxygen. Other substances like gasoline or methane also burn with oxygen.
In contrast, helium is inert. Its chemical property is that it does not react. Some examples of chemical properties of matter are the ability to rust, corrode, decompose, or react.
