Good morning, STEM families!
The last week of the 2022-2023 school year is upon us. I cannot believe how fast this year has gone! Grade level ceremonies (Pre-K through 7th grade) will be this week. Please see within the newsletter the days and times of each grade level ceremony. All families are welcome to attend. The ceremony will be approximately 30 - 45 minutes in length, with time to take photos after the ceremony.
If you have gently used uniform pieces (shirts with the Manara log, navy or gray pants) that your scholar has outgrown and you would like to donate them to us, we are collecting gently used uniform pieces. If we have enough uniforms donated, we will have a used uniform sale at the beginning of next school year in August. Read within the newsletter further details!

Arlington Charities is a great resource for any family who is needing food or services within the Arlington community. Please see their information below! There is also a "Summer Read and Feed" program available this summer through Arlington Charities and Atmos Energy. Families who sign up for this program will receive a book and snack bag for each eligible child along with their drive-through food service. Yearbooks are available to purchase after each grade level ceremony this week. You can also send in the $20 with your scholar any time this week as well! Purchase one before they are no longer available!

Each grade level will participate in an end of year ceremony. Families are welcome and encouraged to attend! Below are the dates and times for each grade level. All ceremonies will take place in the cafeteria/gym.
May 22: 7th grade ceremony begins at 8:45am

Tell all of your family and friends about our Pre-K 3 opportunity for next school year! There are only a few more spots available. Our program will be for those scholars turning 3 by Sept. 1, 2023 and will run from 8:00am until 12:00pm Monday - Friday of the 2023-2024 school year. If you have any questions, please let us know!

Used Uniforms Needed & Memorial Day Uniform Sale!
If your scholar has out-grown their uniform and you would like to donate them to the school, we are collecting gently used uniform pieces for girls and boys - all sizes. If enough pieces are collected at the end of the school year, we will have a "gently used uniform sale" at the beginning of the school year.
Please drop off clean, gently used uniform pieces that you no longer need to Ms. Smith. Thank you!
Also, our primary uniform vendor, French Toast, is holding a Memorial Day sale. Take advantage of this opportunity to make sure your uniforms are ready to go for next school year! Use school code QS616AR or search Manara Academy.

Our last birthday Thursday will be on May 25. If your scholar has a birthday in May, June, or July, you can send in treats with your scholar on May 25 (or leave them labeled on the Forget-Me-Not table outside the main entrance). Treats will be given out the last 30 minutes of the school day.
